Participants are welcome to the Sanctuary, to quiet areas for reading or journaling, or to walk our beautiful campus. The day concludes with Holy Eucharist. Please bring your Bible. The Great Vigil of Easter is a unique service in the life of the church as we emerge from the tomb into resurrection life together: literally! We begin outdoors, lighting the new fire and then carrying it into the darkness of the Sanctuary. Then the children and youth of Saint Barnabas will bring the stories of God s saving deeds throughout history to life, in conjunction with beautiful music led by our choir. We will also be welcoming church members into the Christian family through the sacrament of Holy Baptism. Then we all break our Lenten fasts together by way of a delicious dessert feast which follows the service in Hutton Hall. If you would like to share a special treat at the feast, please contact Kate: Kate@saintbarnabas.org. We hope to see you all there! SMAC is full already!
