ADULT FORMATION Please welcome Father John Quinn who will speak at all the Masses on behalf of Cross Catholic Outreach which was founded to create a meaningful link between parishes in America and the priests and nuns working in the Church overseas in the Caribbean, Africa, Asia, Central and South America. Please be generous in your response to Father s appeal. Brochures will be provided if you wish to support this worthy Catholic ministry. Our Adult Formation committee is pleased to present Bishop Robert Barron's study Eucharist: Sacred Meal, Sacrifice, and Real Presence for our next adult study. Christ is alive and fully present in the Eucharist. Join us as we delve into the source and summit of our Faith with this DVD-based program: Eucharist: Sacred Meal, Sacrifice, and Real Presence. This spiritual study will give you a deeper understanding of the precious gift of Christ s body, blood, soul, and divinity that you can receive at each and every Mass. We will meet on Mondays - June 12, 19 and 26 at 7:00 PM in the preschool house (upstairs), There is no fee. Registration is not required. If you have any questions you can contact Cyndi Marlow in the parish office - 239-5178. Please join us! YOUTH MINISTRY Big Thank You to everyone who donated candy for the Easter Egg Hunt and to Texas Roadhouse for donating coupons for free kids meals! If you are in Texas Roadhouse, thank them! We had over 100 children at the Easter Egg Hunt and it turned out wonderful! Also thanks to 3rd Turn Brewery for allowing us to use their place of business, which is an old Church building, to film our "Louisville, Where Is The Love?" video. Have you seen St Bernard's Youth Ministry's "Louisville, Where Is the Love?" Facebook page? If you haven't, check it out! Our students are out and about being roving reporters on positive events around Kentucky! If you have something positive happening at your school, place of employment or personally, please give Kari Ogle at 502-836-6922 and the youth will be happy to report it! Kids love being on social media, so why not make it about something positive!! Are you a grade school or high school student who would like to be a news reporter for our Facebook page? Or are you the parent of a student who would like to be one? It's a great experience for the youth to practice being in front of the camera and learning about broadcasting and how to interview! I work with them ahead of time so that they can be confident when they get in front of the camera. Call or text Kari Ogle at 502-836- 6922 for all the details and to sign up!! VBS NEEDS YOUR HELP! St. Bernard will be hosting a mini-vbs this year on July 26, 27 & 28 in the mornings. A few more adult leaders are needed. To register as a helper please visit stbernardlou.com/vbs.
