Offertory Kyrie Eleison (Lord Have Mercy) Chorus Kyrie eleison; have mercy. Christe eleison; have mercy. Kyrie eleison; have mercy. Christe eleison; have mercy. As we come before You With the needs of our world, We confess our failures and our sin, For our words are many Yet our deeds have been few; Fan the fire of compassion Once again. When the cries of victims Go unheard in the land, And the scars of war refuse to heal, Will we stand for justice To empower the weak Til their bonds of oppression Are no more. If we love our God with all our Heart, mind, and strength, And we love our Neighbors as ourselves, Then this law of love Will heal the nations of earth, And the glory of Christ will be revealed. Lord, renew our vision To be Christ where we live, To reach out in mercy to the lost; For each cup of kindness To the least in our midst Is an offering of worship To the throne. Gathering Song As the Heavens are Higher As the heav ns are higher than the earth, So His ways are higher than the ways of the world, And His thoughts run deeper than the mind of man: Father break into our darkened hearts. Come and drink the river of His word, If you thirst for water that can satisfy; Come and Join the banquet at the Master s feast, Where His love and faithfulness provide. Chorus I will trust in You, as You speak to me; I will turn to You as You call my name. As the rain gives life on this arid ground, So Your word will bring Your children home. So Your word will bring Your children home. Come and listen to His gentle voice, For the words He speaks to us are Spirit and life; Come and seek your Savior while He may be found, Sure that Jesus words can never lie. 10 Richard Simpkin

Song of Response The Spirit of the Lord Praise the Spirit of the Lord our God For our minds He has illumined, Shines the glory of a risen Christ On our blood-stained guilt and ruin. Worldly wisdom cannot see Through the humble mystery All prepared for the hearts whom He Is now remaking-holy. Praise the Spirit of the Lord our God, Of the Father s love assures us, Warmly wills our loving lives to obey His guiding law set for us. Never more in misery Chained to fear and slavery; All is Christ, and in Him free Are the children of His vict ry. Praise the Spirit of the Lord our God For the fruit He reaps within us, Raising into a maturity The life He now gives in us; All that Christ be glorified, And the lost be purified, That the work should be applied Of the One who rose victorious. Words by Brian LoPiccolo 2006 11

Song of Supplication Let It Be Said of Us Let it be said of us that the Lord was our passion, That with gladness we bore ev ry cross we were given; That we fought the good fight, that we finished the course Knowing within us the pow r of the risen Lord. Chorus Let the cross be our glory and the Lord be our song, By mercy made holy, by the Spirit made strong. Let the cross be our glory and the Lord be our song Til the likeness of Jesus be through us made known. Let the cross be our glory and the Lord be our song. Let it be said of us: We were marked by forgiveness, We were known by our love, and delighted in meekness. We were ruled by His peace, heeding unity s call; Joined as one body that Christ would be seen by all. Steve Fry - CCLI# 1855882: Copyright 1994, 1999 Maranatha Praise, Inc. and Word Music, LLC 12

Sending Song Take My Life Take my life, and let it be Consecrated, Lord, to Thee; Take my moments and my days Let them flow in ceaseless praise. Take my hands and let them move At the impulse of Thy love. Take my feet and let them be Swift and beautiful for Thee. Take my voice and let me sing Always, only, for my King; Take my lips and let them be Filled with messages from Thee. Take my silver and my gold Not a mite would I withhold; Take my intellect and use Every pow r as You choose. Chorus Here am I, all of me. Take my life, it s all for Thee. Take my will and make it Thine It shall be no longer mine; Take my heart it is Thine own, It shall be Thy royal throne. Take my love -- my Lord, I pour At Your feet its treasure store; Take myself, and I will be Ever, only, all for Thee. Chorus Louie Giglio, Chris Tomlin, Frances R. Havcergal, and Henri A. Weekly Readings Review Romans 12:3-8 This Week: As we trust in God and humble ourselves before Him and other people, we find ourselves, not resenting others, but caring for them from the heart. So our list of virtues includes compassion, brotherly love, kindness, and goodness (benevolence). Although all the virtues display love in different ways, these seem to be most obviously virtues of love. (John Frame, The Doctrine of the Christian Life, 345) Matthew 18:1-4 John 17:1-26 Whoever Humbles Himself That They May Be One Prayer: 1 Corinthians 12:12-14 One Body, Many Members Almighty God, by your Holy Spirit you have made us one with Your saints in heaven and on earth: Grant that in our earthly pilgrimage we may always be supported by this fellowship of love and prayer, and know ourselves to be surrounded by their witness to your power and mercy. We ask this for the sake of Jesus Christ, in whom all our intercessions are acceptable through the Spirit, and who lives and reigns for ever and ever. Amen. (Book of Common Prayer) In Preparation for Worship: Romans 12:9-10 14
