March 31, 2019 THE FOURTH SUNDAY IN LENT 8:00a.m. & 10:30am WHILE WE GATHER In today s Old Testament reading, notice how guilt s cold fist tightens until all Joseph s brothers realize their sin. Though more than 20 years have passed, time has not erased the debt they owe their Lord for their sins again him. Note how God uses Joseph s test to produce true repentance in the brother s hearts. Our sins will always find us out, however faraway we look for refuge. But Christ has redeemed us-bought us back from the curse of guilt and of having to keep the Law! In Christ and His Cross, we find favor with God! As the shawl is crafted, the individual infuses it with thoughts and prayers for comfort, healing and the embrace of God s love for the receiver. The conference room has speakers and one-way glass so you can still participate in Worship. During the Sunday school hour, (9:15am 10:15am) and during the 10:30am worship service the nursery is staffed for children 0-3 years old. The nursery is in the preschool on the north end of the building. It is the first classroom on the left as you enter the preschool parent lounge area. There are also speakers in the nursery so you can listen to the service. Activity bags for young children to use are in the plastic tub outside the church office. 11
