Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church As a parish of the Catholic Diocese of Charleston, Our Lady of Grace seeks to know and share God s Word, live as a community of Christian disciples, devoutly celebrate the Holy and other sacraments, provide a prayerful environment for all people, and serve the poor and those in need in Christ s Name. In this way of life, Our Lady of Grace Parish looks to Mary of Nazareth as its model and patron. High School Diocesan Youth Conference Participants The Most Rev. Robert E. This Sunday, we join Peter, James, and John in the Transfigura=on. This manifesta=on of a por=on of the Lord s glory shows us the sublimity that awaits us in eternity. This awareness drives us to seek the will of God in all things and to do it faithfully and excellently. Do we understand the glory that awaits us and are we laboring for it in all we do? Some updates around the parish: At our 5:30 PM on Ash Wednesday, the ushers accidentally took up a collec=on. My apologies! This is normally not done on Ash Wednesday. In full disclosure, the money was counted and is included in this bulle=n s financial report. The collected money will be placed in our regular opera=ng budget. This weekend, my newest book, Always Have an Answer Ready was available for purchase aqer each. If you missed the opportunity and are interested in the book, it s currently available on Amazon. As an FYI: We don t have any copies in the Parish Office and so Amazon is the best way to go! As you drove onto campus, you may have no=ced the ground being prepared for our new Our Lady of Grace sign. The sign has been a long =me coming. Now, with all the right permissions, it s finally nearing a reality. I m glad that our neighbors, and those driving by, will soon know exactly who we are, when we worship, and how to contact us. It will be beau=ful! Also, if you ve been in the Quiet Room, you ve seen our new Ministry Office. The new office provides some shared administra=ve space for many of our parish staff who do not have permanent offices. If you haven t seen it, please stop by and take a look! Our new sacristy is nearing comple=on, as is our new Parish Nursery/John Paul II Room. More details to follow soon! I look forward to the visit of Dr. Sco\ Hahn to our parish on March 23. For those who have signed up, please try to carpool as best you can. We re all in for a great event! More updates next week. Let us pray for one another!
