McNeal (917) 658-9487 Insurance Agent Phil Ammirato (718) 822-7776 Editor Bob Graziano (718) 938-0114 chiefrob451@aol.com Beth and I wish all of you Merry Christmas. This is such a special time in our lives. Take a moment during this stressful time to reflect on the meaning of Christmas and how it relates to our lives. Unfortunately our council was unable to convince the Long Island Chapter to having the St. Fidelis Mother and Child residence as the main recipient of the Charity Drive. The recipient will be Faith in the Future again. I ask all our members to stand up and support this worthy charity. I realized that I never put in the Navigator the recipients of the St. Ambrose Tuition Grant so better late than never. Sorry! Congratulations to Michael Fishkin Grandson to Brother Knight Frank Sambati and Marissa Mendez Granddaughter of Brother Knight Gil Mendez. The checks were mailed the month we pulled their names out. Thanks to Brian O Keefe for your work on the Memorial Mass. I am sorry to report that we decided to cancel the Thanks Giving Dinner due to lack of responses by the cut off date. It is hard to judge the amount of people who will attend an event. We never like to turn away anyone for lack of food. We are trying to save money for the council and not take a loss on any event. I need your cooperation with this. Please try to contact the chairman in any event and at least let them know you are coming. This will help us dramatically in ordering food. Next month is the start of our celebrations for the 100th Anniversary. Please read all the information on page 3 of the Navigator. I hope that you will make the effort to join in the festivities. The efforts made by members are very appreciated. This is what our organization is all about. Sometimes we get annoyed with one another. Let the small things go. Open your heart and show Charity to one another. This is our faith. Life is just to short. Embrace one another and you will be rewarded!!! Congratulations to Knight of the Month Emidio (Rocky) Farone for you continued work to this council. Your constant support does not go unnoticed. God Bless Us and this Great Country. Bob Graziano Grand Knight Keep Christ is Christmas Thank you to Madam President Karen Remiszewski, Sister Columbiettes and our Grand Knight Robert Graziano for their support. Our 7th year Halloween Party was great! Special thanks goes to Kevin & Robert Reinhart, Rose & Bill Wick, Breda & John Quinn, Brian O Keefe, Deborah Henrich, Ruth Doucet, Gil Mendez, & our Bartenders Arthur Ferony & Carlos Malave for all the hard work! Thank you all for your donations and help, and for attending our event. Our 8th Halloween Party will be on Saturday 30, 2010 see you all next year!!
