We are very excited to be offering DC4K for the 1st time. This is a support group specifically for children of divorce ages 5-12. Prearranged child care will be available for children up to 4 years old. Kids ENews We continue with our EPIC adventures through the Bible on Wednesday nights with the early life stories of Jesus. Our kids have been learning so much through the Bible stories & scripture verses. Please remember to keep them in your daily prayers. Next week we will have a special Wednesday evening kids service. Be sure to be here in order to take part in it. Don t forget about NazKids Bible Quizzing practice each Sunday night starting @ 5:45 here at the church. Those Serving This Sunday, Sept 8: Toddler Nursery: Infant Nursery: Hello GCN family, It s hard to believe that it s September already. School is in full swing and the kids are getting back into the routine of homework and extra curricular activities. Please be in prayer for them this school year. This Sunday night for teen time, we will be having a movie night: To Save a Life here at the church. Invite your friends. 5th Quarter will take place on Friday, Sept 13 after the 1st home football game. Be sure to encourage your friends to come with you and hang out! It s going to be a blast! Quiz Practice moves back to 4:30pm on Sundays this week. Please be sure to be studying Romans 1-3, reviewing the practice questions and working on your memory work. The 1st quiz meet is Sept 14. Extra Mile Run is Sept 14 and our church is hosting it here at GCN. Dallas Crist has all the details and sign up forms. If you are interested in participating in this event. (either running or walking) please signup. All ages are welcome to join. See you at the Pole is Sept 25. This is a national day of prayer that is organized by students throughout our country. Participating students, parents, teachers and community support people all meet at the flag pole before school to pray for students, local and global issues and various other requests. Please consider joining them in prayer whether at the school or at home. More info coming soon. Club 52: Thank you so much for your continued support of our student ministries. We are currently looking for volunteers who are willing to adopt a GCCC student by being a part of their life this year. If you are interested, please contact Pastor Jamie. On Weds nights we are contining our series on transformation through brokenness. Thank you for covering our students in prayer that they become fully surrendered to God and his leading in their lives. Please pick up an Event Request Form from the front office and fill it out completely. All forms are then turned into the front office to have the calendar availability checked. Once that has happened, it proceeds to Pastor s office to be approved. Once it is approved or decided that modifications are needed, we will notify you and then schedule it onto our master calander and make notes to run advertisements if needed. This system is also used for any resources you want to borrow. Vehicles, chairs/tables, room rental etc. All resource rental and events MUST be requested, approved and scheuduled by the office. Real Life Mom s Group We are so excited about the growth we are experiencing and the new and kids who are joining our playgroup! We continue to meet on the 2nd Tues and 4th Weds of the month at various locations in and around town.
