Fiddlers on the Hoof Everything always starts with a dream. A dream to unite people through music; a dream to bring the very finest singers and musicians from the United Kingdom and Ireland to perform in India; to give school children the opportunity to work with professional musicians on stage; to bring to you the best of West End and Broadway Musicals, some familiar, some less so, in the new and exciting show MUSICAL EXPRESS; all to promote the wonderful work of the World Heritage Project. Over six months ago, four teams started working to make this dream a reality. Spanning continents, four different countries and even more time zones, the teams have worked ceaselessly on all the details to make MUSICAL EXPRESS possible. Inspired by the leaders vision and enthusiasm, scores of people have become involved in the project and have given generously of their time, energy and support. This has been a unique and remarkable project and its success is due not only to the wonderful performers you see on stage, but also to every last person who has contributed in whatever way they could. Things have not always run smoothly - and there have been moments when each of us has wondered whether MUSICAL EXPRESS would ever happen. But the remarkable positive spirit of all those involved, united in their conviction and enthusiasm for the World Heritage Project has ensured that all problems have been overcome to enable us to bring you MUSICAL EXPRESS tonight. Please enjoy the show in the knowledge that it is the result of the loving work of many people, united by the power of music and sharing a common goal.
