(978) 270-8404 cell Membership Forum September 15 Worthy Grand Knights & Council Membership Directors, This is a reminder and an invitaon to each of you to join us, on Saturday, 9/15/18, in Dover, at St Mary's church hall, for a Membership Forum. The gathering will be from 10am - noon me and will be facilitated by Greg Taillon and Mark Messier. We would like as many councils as possible to parcipate, so we can maximize the problems experienced, ideas and soluons to be shared. The Forum will be in two sessions. During the first hour segment, councils will break out in to small groups to develop a list of challenges and concerns, and questions about membership recruiting and retention. From this activity a master list will be compiled by each group. Each group will present their list to everyone. During the second hour suggestions and solution options will be reviewed. This will include customizing action plans for specific councils and current parish challenges. GKs who have had success with specific techniques and processes for recruitment and retention will be asked to share their experiences as well. The hope and intent is to help those who may be struggling or are unsure how to go about recruiting new members in their parishes whether it be planning and executing a membership drive or information night, or talking with the parish priest for support, or whatever the difficulty may be. To all GKs, please send email to Mark Messier if you will attend end this Forum. We would like to know who is coming by no later than Friday, 9/7/18, so we can be sure to have enough space and materials for everyone. Thanks to the Dover council and GK Pat Pilewski and DD Paul Mcmanus for offering to host this Forum. We look forward to seeing everyone there. Thanks Mark Messier State Membership Director District Deputy 13

Marian Catholic School Project Marian Devotion for Catholic schools is underway: This past Wednesday Ron Di Stasio and his wife, Mary Ann presented the statues of Our Lady of Fatima to the principals of New Hampshire's catholic schools. This was the meeting with superintendent Dave Thibault to prepare for the start of the school year. Ron spoke about the contribution and involvement of the Knights of Columbus, and Mary Ann highlighted the importance of praying the Rosary to strengthen the family and develop Catholic citizenship. She also stressed the need for Mary as our intercessor with Christ. Superintendent Thibault already has a plan for the principals and teachers for this special devotion. The Bishop most definitely wants Our Lady to travel from home to home. Attached is a group photo of the principals, Superintendent Thibault, his assistant Nancy, and Father Eric Delisle of St. Hedwig's. Fr. Eric blessed all the statues right before they were distributed. Thank you for your donations and a thank you in advance to councils who will donate in the near future. I know this will be a success, and I know Bishop Libasci is very pleased. Peace in Christ Ron

40 DAYS FOR LIFE CAMPAIGN Brother Knights: This year's Fall campaign will begin Wednesday 09/26 at 7:00 A.M. on Penacook Street in Manchester. The Knight's will be kicking off the campaign with a Rosary and prayer service. Please consider being there and consider scheduling times council members can stand witness to the culture of life from 09/26 through 11/04. I challenge Councils to send 2 members per week to pray for an hour. The times are 7am til 7pm seven days a week. Through prayer and witness we can help end the scourge of abortion. Please see flyer for additional info. Peace in Christ Ron
