NHCRC Announcements Harley Van Horssen continues to receive comfort care at the Platte Care Center. Ask God to provide grace and peace to Harley and Vonnie and family. Why and how do we take care of God s world? At the end of the fellowship meal we will have a short service and meditation, looking at Psalm 8:6. Remember to turn your clocks ahead one hour this Saturday night, March 9, before going to bed, as Daylight Saving Time begins. Next Sunday (March 10): Why should someone become a member of the church? In the morning we will continue our series in 1 Corinthians, 12:12-27. We will also witness a baptism. Pastor Gary Maas will lead our evening service while Pastor Gorter is at Corsica CRC on a post-classis exchange. Looking ahead to upcoming special services and events: March 10, Sunday evening services begin March 13, Wednesday evening prayer service March 31, Sunday evening song request CASA program at Harrison We will host a combined Prayer Day service here. Wednesday evening, March 13 at 7:00 p.m. Pastor Dan Ebbens will give the message. Offering for World Renew (make checks payable to: New Holland CRC). Nursery will be provided. Refreshments will be served afterwards. Churches involved: Aurora Reformed, Corsica CRC, Grace Reformed, New Holland CRC, Platte CRC. Happy Birthday and God's richest blessings to our senior member with a birthday this week: Albertha Vreugdenhil (March 7). Life groups starting up this spring! Groups will be a time of fellowship and spiritual strengthening among others within the congregation. More information will be given this morning's worship services. Deadline to sign up is March 17. We are looking for creative, willing host/hostesses to help make this a memorable event. If you are unable to be a host or have not received a host's invitation, you are still invited to attend!
