Seminarian Convention Support Request Brother Knights, In preparation for our Annual New Hampshire State Convention, there are a few details that we are tying up, to make sure that everyone has the best time possible. Each year, the New Hampshire State Council always invites our Seminarians to attend the State Convention at no cost to them. This gives us the opportunity to spend time with those whom we support throughout the year, catching up with those whom we don t see all of the time because they are studying at Seminary, and to get to know some whom we have never met before. These men have truly given their time, energy and prayers to grow closer to God, in preparation of becoming those who shepherd us in our daily lives. With that being said, we are actively seeking donations from you, our local Councils, in raising these funds for their attendance at the Annual Awards Banquet, on Saturday the 28 th. Each year s attendance continues to grow each year, and so we have set a goal of $1,000 to sponsor our Seminarians. Please consider sending a donation to the New Hampshire State Council for this need. Send checks to: Joseph J. Kowalik, III State Secretary 157 Hackett Hill Road Hooksett, NH 03106 Joe will keep track of Council or individual donors, and make sure that our State Vocations Chairman, Joel Plante, PSD is kept up to date on this drive for donations. Please don t hesitate to donate now. Time is drawing near to this EXCITING weekend and no one should miss out on the fun. On behalf of your Knights of Columbus, New Hampshire State Council Officers and our wives, and State Vocations Chairman, Joel Plante, we thank you in advance and look forward to your support. God Bless! Glenn Glenn P. Camley State Deputy Knights of Columbus New Hampshire State Council

Hello Gentlemen I have just been informed that the pins are on back order and will not ready for the convention. I will keep you all informed Bob Garand

NH Knights Video Schedule for April April 2 nd The Verses I Never Saw by Marcus Grodi April 9 th Scripture and the Early Church by Fr. Mitch Pacwa April 16 th How Do We Know the Early Church? by Dr. William Marshner April 23 rd Four Witnesses Brought Me Home by Rod Bennett April 30 th Peter, the Rock, the Keys and the Chair by Steve Ray The video schedule for the month of April is based on the Deep in History video series by Marcus Grodi and The Coming Home Network. Four of the five speakers are converts to the faith. The one exception is Fr. Mitch Pacwa who is well known through EWTN. These videos, and The Coming Home Network itself, are evident of a phenomenon that few Catholics are aware of, which is that there has been a movement among Protestant clergy towards Catholic conversion. Within the last twenty years over 1000 former Protestant clergy have converted to Catholicism through The Coming Home Network. That doesn t count the non-clergy conversions, and Marcus Grodi states that they are contacted on average by three to four new Protestant clergy every week. That movement is based on scripture, history and authority. The hope is that these videos, working with the Holy Spirit, can soften the hearts of non-catholics as well as fallen away Catholics to see the Catholic Church for what it is, The One True Faith. As of now Nashua, Hudson, Pelham, Salem and Concord cable access TV systems broadcast our weekly programming. We need more knights around the state to help us get this Catholic programming out to more NH towns. All we need is one knight in each town to contact their local cable access TV system to request the NH Knights videos be broadcasted. Anyone with a question about the program can contact me at donovansnh@myfairpoint.net Thank you, Bryan Donovan Video Media Chairman NH State Knights of Columbus cell: 603-718-2799

2018 Knights of Columbus Men s Retreat September 7 th thru September 9th My Brother Knights, Please save the date September 7 th - 9 th for the Annual Knights of Columbus Men s Retreat. It will again be on beautiful Lake Wentworth, Wolfeboro, NH at Camp Bernadette. The theme for the weekend has not been chosen but I am sure our Spiritual Director for the weekend Fr. In the meantime if you have any questions just email me at bassaholic47@gmail.com or text/call me at 603-568-1142. God Bless. Vivat Jesus, Jim Preisendorfer <>< DD#15, FFD, PFN, PGK

CAMP FATIMA NEEDS OUR HELP Camp Fatima Work Day - May 19th, 2018 We need your help! May 19, 2018 from 8:00am - 4:00pm or anywhere in between. The Camp had a micro burst go through in Oct. A lot of trees were taken down. Most have been clean up, but a lot of the debris still exist. We will need as much man power(or person-power) as we can get to clean the grounds and cabins. We always need the tradesmen such as carpenters, electricians, plumbers and painters, etc. Please mark your calendars to come help on this day. The date does conflict with a 2nd & 3rd. Degree in Keene. But State Ceremonials Director Rich McDermott said if anyone on the teams wishes to come for Work Day he will replace the spot on degree team. This Work Day reserves you a cabin for the Camporee in Sept. If you can not participate, please consider having your council help with a donation to help defray the cost of clean up from micro burst. Make check to Camp Fatima and mail to me at 78 Batchelder Road, Raymond, NH 03077. Any questions please call 895-2889. Thank you for your consideration. Ron Metevier, SDCC

Relics of Saint Pio of Pietrelcina will be at the St. Joseph Cathedral on Monday, April 30 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.with a Mass celebrated in honor of Saint Pio at 6:00 p.m. with Bishop Peter Libasci the celebrant. You are invited to visit the relics as well as you are especially invited to help during the day. We have for major stations where volunteers are invited to watch over the relcis and help with the people flow. I have divided these stations into one and two hour segments so no one will have to stand to long. Email me if you are interested in being a volunteer on April 30! Thanks. Becky <RVinson@rcbm.org>

Worthy State Officers, District Deputies, Faithful Navigators, & Grand Knights... Prince of Peace Assembly 1506 in Nashua will be marching in Nashua's Memorial Day parade on Monday, May 28, and would like to invite you to join us. The 1.3 mile route begins at Holman Stadium and ends at Marketplace Plaza in downtown Nashua. This invitation is for all Knights (regardless of Degree held), wives, and family members. Prospective members are also invited to march. Please review the next page, which outlines the event (including required attire for all participants) and recommendations for carpooling from the end of the route back to the start. I ask that you RSVP to me by e- mail or phone with a tentative number of participants from your Council or Assembly no later than Sunday, May 20. (GKs and FNs, please respond for your entire council or assembly, rather than having individual members reply). We will not have a float or a flatbed for persons to ride in or on, so all participants must march or be pushed in a wheelchair. This is a fun event where we all can publicly show we are proud to be Catholic, proud to be Knights of Columbus, and proud to support our flag and the men and women who died defending it. 30-40 persons participated in 2015 and 2016 s parade was cancelled due to weather, but only about a dozen marched in 2017. We are hoping to strongly rebound this year. Please talk this up among your Council and Assembly members and encourage them and their families to join us! If you have any questions, please call or e-mail me. Thank you. Ron Barnovsky, Assembly 1506 Parade Chairman barnovsky@comcast.net 603-809-6768
