Come to the meeting on September 15 and you will learn about an easy way to get involved - by volunteering at a voter registration drive. LWV is going online and real-time with letting members know when and where the drives are. Let us show you the easy, new Google Sheets that we will use. Annual Meeting May 12, 2018 The 2017-18 Annual Meeting of the Utica/Rome League of Women Voters featured Dawn Cateri Lupi, Oneida County Assistant District Attorney. Ms. Lupi talked about her 30 years of experience in reaching her current position, as well as the kinds of situations that her office handles on a regular basis, focusing on those pertaining to domestic violence. In addition, the students that represented our chapter at the Students Inside Albany event in during May,2018 were introduced. Each of these young adults gave a summary of the experience and their future goals. Officers for 2018-19 were elected (full listing on cover page of Newsletter) and members adopted two local programs: Advocacy for (1) Smart Growth and (2) Recycled/Recyclable Containers Sandra Bajrektarevic, Students Inside Albany, Proctor High School Sandra DePerno and Lucretia Hunt, LWV Members Dawn Cateri Lupi, Oneida County Assistant District Attorney Marianne Buttenschon, LWV Member Cameron Kilpatrick, Students Inside Albany, Rome Free Academy Interested in becoming a member of Utica/Rome League of Women Voters?
