My Brother, From the East While I was sitting the other night, looking over the closing charge. I was thinking about its meaning and how much we have forgotten about it in today society. With today s social media. It is easy to say too much about each other. Without putting thought into how a person will read into what you have to say and weather what is being said is truth. It states we are to remind an erring brother of his failings.( Go face to face with a brother and explain to him your concerns.) To aid in his reformation.( Not only convey your concerns, but to help decide the best action to solve them.) To vindicate his character when traduced.( To not let other people blow the stories out of proportion.) It is easy to stare at a screen and write about a person or a situation without confronting them, finding out the facts, rectifying the problem and letting them know you are there for them. This is what Masons are, this is what masons do and this should be how mason act. We might not always agree. But how we conduct ourselves as brothers is what confirms our past and what will dictate our future in society. Fraternally yours, RW Ronald Menear Worshipful Master In case of sickness or distress, please contact the Worshipful Master, Wardens or Secretary. In 2017, New Jersey Freemasonry will be celebrating the 300 th anniversary of the Grand Lodge of England. To help commemorate this event, the Grand Lodge of New Jersey has contracted with PCI to publish a high end Yearbook to be sold/distributed late in the 2017/2018 Masonic year. This notification is to advise you that all New Jersey Freemasons will be contacted directly by PCI via the mail for information that each Mason may wish to submit as part of that yearbook.
