David met Jeanne at Catholic High School. They both graduated from Auburn University, and have been married 41 years. They have 5 children: Jeff, Charlie, Ben, Andy, Laura and 12 grandchildren. David and all 5 of his children attended St. Bede School. DAVID BARRANCO is known for his excellent skills as a Restaurateur. Many parishioners enjoy eating breakfast, lunch and dinner at Chappy's Deli. What is not as well publicized is David's deep love for his Church, St. Bede the Venerable Parish. David is a devout and deeply dedicated parishioner. His involvement at St. Bede transcends the visible ministries as Lector and Acolyte. David also assists in maintaining the Church building, meticulously monitoring the roof, flooring and other aspects of the 18 acre property. He does this not for the sake of work but out of love and care for his Church. He has always been willing and ready to help at any level for any need, giving his time, talent and treasure for the upbuilding of the Community. It is with joy and honor to present DAVID BARRANCO to the Archbishop as the 2017 recipient of the Christ the King Medal to be given out at the Christ the King Mass on Sunday,. Christ the King 4 The St. Bede ANGEL TREE program will partner with Catholic Social Services and St. Margaret s Services. Do not miss this wonderful opportunity to help give a Merry Christmas to children and elderly in our community through the donation of new gifts. Your generosity last year was overwhelming and brought such joy to young and old alike. Sign up will be next weekend December 2 & 3 - after all the Masses. If a couple is civilly married or unmarried, they must make an appointment to meet with the Pastor before they can have their children baptized. 3. Children age 6 and under will receive the sacrament of Baptism. From 7 and above, they will receive all three sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Communion, and Confirmation). 4. Parents must bring a copy of their marriage certificate from the Church where they were married. 5. Godparents must be practicing Catholics. You may have a proxy for a godparent/s who may be unable to come. 6. To have your child baptized, contact Andrea at 272-3463 to schedule a Baptism Preparation Class. 7.
