We had so much fun sorting through the groceries and watching my daughter who is at college cry 'dibs' on various items. Reportedly, college food is not so great. She is taking German at college and so was able to write a comment card to the dining service in English and German T -- "The tomatoes are moldy." hanks as well for the several gift cards which I solemnly pledge not to use entirely on Mad Dog 20/20 and lottery tickets. Carefully note the use of the word N'entirely.' o... actually and truly -- it is all too kind of you, as you all have been all too kind to me. Can you believe that you've tolerated me for ten months now? Did you ever imagine that you had that kind I of patience and endurance? n all honesty, I am torn; hoping that Our Savior soon finds the individual whom God would have to serve you, and at the same time being in no great hurry to sever the bonds, be they ever so newly formed. We wander in and out of scenes, and spend time here or there with a fellow traveler. Like in a play, settings change, actors enter stage right, exit stage left, but we are all part of the company. And when the lights go up, we are all invited to the cast party where will have plenty of time to visit and enjoy one another's W company. ell... again... thank you for making my abbreviated stay in Newton so pleasant and delightful. Maybe someday I can repay the favor. I will split my lottery winnings with you. Pastor Picard Thank You Please accept our sincere thanks for your continued support. Your prayers and financial support under the blessings of God will accomplish much as we work with you to equip men and women for lives of learning, service and leadership in the church and world. May the Lord bless you and the used of your gift of $300.00 in His kingdom work. Brian L. Friedrich, President Concordia University, Nebraska Thank you for your gift of $100.00 to the Chapel. Max Mons, S.T.M Pastor, St. Paul's Lutheran Chapel and University Center Thank you for your faithful partnership in supporting our Troops through the Military BibleStick program. Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You The Staff and the Board of Directors at PCCI want to thank you for serving as Table Hosts for our recent Fall Banquet. This is one of our two fund raising events to allow us to continue the Christian Ministry we provide in serving our clients. This year's banquet brought to us not only many one-time gifts, but several regular monthly gifts that will help us be better stewards of our monthly budget. This event along brought us over $25,000. Although we are only open Monday through Thursday from noon to 4pm for client appointments, we are averaging over 800 appointments per year. The need continues to be even greater than that. We truly appreciate your willingness to invite your friends and family members to our Fall Banquet. This is a wonderful and meaningful way for us to share our mission and ministry with even more from the greater community. We are grateful for the blessings you have bestowed upon PCCI and we ask your ongoing prayers for the continuation of our work in the days ahead. We sincerely invite you to come in to see our new facility and what we do here. Rita Baker, Director Pregnancy Center of Central Iowa Please accept our heartfelt thanks for the gifts for the Baby Shower! Everything will be used to support our clients here at PCCI. Many of the items will go to layettes that we present to all moms and their babies when they are born. Other things will be placed in our store for purchase by our moms and dads who participate in our Earn While You Learn Program. For every lesson a client takes, he or she ears a "Mommy Money" or a "Daddy Dollar" which can then be used to shop in the store here at PCCI. This allows parents who may have difficulty economically to provide diapers, supplies, clothing and furniture and other equipment for their little ones while they are improving their parenting skills. All of our services are provided free of charge, so we truly depend upon our fund raising events and the kindness of businesses, churches and individuals to continue our Christian Mission here at PCCI. We appreciate your generosity and wish you many blessings in return.
