We welcome, serve, and educate.

Dear Parishioners, The Gospel reading of this Sunday is clearly very Eucharistic. Jesus speaks about eating his body and drinking his blood. The horrified response of the Jews is, How can this man give us his flesh to eat? We might ask, How can Jesus become present in the bread and wine? The question we should ask ourselves is, How can we as followers of Christ, be present to the mystery of the risen Christ in the church and in the world today? This begins every time the Christian community gathers to celebrate the Eucharist. The Eucharist is the banquet that Jesus provides for his people. All of us come to the Eucharistic table hungry, to be fed by the body of Christ, the living bread come down from heaven. Through the Eucharist, a Spiritual bond is forged between us, his people. Through our intimacy with Christ, we are also united with one another in the church. We are invited to live this out in our lives through mutual love, forgiveness, generosity and concern for one another. Yours Sincerely, Fr. Jose Shaji, Pastor YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT The effect of receiving the body and blood of Christ is to change us into what we receive. --Pope Saint Leo the Great On August 18th & 19th, join your fellow parishioners for wine and cheese along with stimulating conversation following the 5:00pm Mass. The gathering will take place in Centennial Hall.
