As we prepare to celebrate our parish feast day on December 8th with our Bishop, we shall do a Novena with special thematic intentions for our faith community. AROUND THE AREA/DIOCESE Share the Warmth: Annual Winter Outerwear Collection This the season for donating coats, gloves, mittens, hats, scarves and boots to the annual Share the Warmth drive sponsored by Catholic Charities. You ll find collection bins around the area in grocery and other stores, on the campuses, and at our church. Catholic Charities will be distributing these items for free during the first two weeks of December. Friendly volunteers are needed to wait on customers and help them find the items they need. 2-hour shifts are available, December 3-7 and 10-14, from 9:00am until 4:00pm. Advent Retreat: The Holiday season can be so stressful with so much going on in our lives. To help focus on the meaning and the spiritual riches of the season, Immaculate Conception has invited Fr. Dennis Billy for the weekend of December 8/9 to preside at Mass with a presentation on Advent s Sacred Quartet: Marian theme for Advent in the afternoon 3-4 PM. All are welcome. Bring family and friends. This is a great spiritual opportunity for our faith community. Save the Date! The 3rd Annual March for Life will take place on Friday, January 18 @ 1pm to coincide with the 46th annual National~March For Life in DC the world s largest pro-life event!
