P a ge 3 FINANCIAL REPORT Due to Steve Kluttz illness, there is no financial summary for March. Council has hired a contract accountant to handle St. John s finances. We should be able to present a financial summary in the June newsletter. Steve s condition has recently improved. Please keep Steve in your thoughts and prayers. The Finance Team ST. JOHN SERVES AT FOOD PANTRY MAY 21ST 25TH Please see sign-up sheet on the bulletin board and let us know when you are able to help out. Folks are needed to run the desk and also to work the back Monday and Friday from 9:00AM to 1:00PM, and Tuesday from 4:00-. You do not need to stay the entire shift whatever time you can help is welcome. QUILT SUNDAY PENTECOST -MAY 20TH ONE SERVICE @11:00AM Sunday, May 20th is Pentecost One Worship Service @11:00AM It is also Quilt Sunday the Quilters are also raffling two quilts $1 for one chance, or $5 for 6. Drawing will be held after worship on the 20th. We will be honoring our Abingdon High School Graduates on this day Jared Kluttz, Michelle Morris, and Samantha Grace Robertson. Each graduate may choose a quilt for themselves after worship. Reception for the graduates following worship please bring finger foods to share. SATURDAY-MAY 26TH ST JOHN YARD SALE St. John will be having their Yard Sale on Saturday, May 26th (same day as Plumb Alley Day) we will be renting tables for $10 each. Clean out your garage and closets and come set up here to sell your treasures. You keep the money from your sales. 3
