My thanks to everyone who did a marvelous job with our Christmas Liturgies. It starts with our Blessed Virgin Mary statue, west of the church, who received a spot-light just hour before our Christmas Liturgies. Secondly, the musicians who have been busy practicing many hours prior to Christmas shared with us their incredible vocals and instrumentals. Thirdly, the Church was splendidly decorated thanks to the efforts of many individuals. It looks better each and every year. Fourthly, the people of St. Patrick s showed-up in great numbers and participated with great gusto. We should all give ourselves a nice pat on the back. God Bless You! Fr. You buy the card for the price of 6 meals and get the 7th meal for free. This card is valid for dine in or drive thru. An adult meal punch card is $60. A senior meal punch card is $54. And a child meal punch card is $36. WE COME BEARING GIFTS EPIPHANY CONCERT Sunday, January 6 3:00 p.m. St. Pius X Church, Cedar Rapids Celebrate the Christmas season by attending the annual St. Pius Epiphany Concert on Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. The hour-and-a-half concert will feature choirs, soloists, and instrumentalists from area churches and beyond. Music lovers of all ages are invited to attend! In the spirit of the three wise men, everyone is invited to come bearing gifts of money or nonperishable food for MCO (Metro Catholic Outreach). After the concert, we ll enjoy refreshments in Pius Hall. SAVE THE DATE! Please join us for the Cedar Rapids March for Life. A rosary for Life will be prayed at 12:00 at St. Matthew's Church (2310 First Ave NE) in Cedar Rapids. Fr. Steve Garner will be the celebrant at the Mass which will include prayers for the legal protection of the unborn on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at 12:30. The St. Matthew Sanctity of Life Committee will be serving as hosts for this event.after the Mass, meet in Kearn Hall, (lower level) for a 2:00 March for Life to Planned Parenthood (3425 First Ave. SE) where we will witness, pray, and visit. Signs will be available for your use. At 3:00 we will return to St, Matthew's Church in Kearn Hall for some free hot chili and fellowship. Those who want to join in but will not be able to march can drive the route and participate in the events. The St. Matthew Sanctity of Life Committee and The Coalition For Life of Iowa will be serving as hosts for this event. All are welcome to attend all or part of this activity.
