THE SIXTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME Dear Friends, I am writing this letter more than a week before it is to be published because of some schedule complications in my calendar and the needs of the publisher. I do not know if we have won the Superbowl! I do not know if the lighting project in the Church is complete! I am not sure if there are any events or developments in the world that I might be addressing here. Ignorance is bliss comes to mind. So, let me just use this space to reiterate my thanks to all those who do so much to keep the parish, the Choir School and the Harvard Catholic Center so vibrant. In the past two weeks, I have attended two marathon six hour meetings about several items, not to mention a dozen or more shorter meetings. All of these reflect the care that so many have for what we do as the Catholic presence in Harvard Square. Finally, I am encouraging parishioners to sign up for the Saturday, February 25 day long workshop regarding our participation in Disciples In Mission. You can do it on line (see bulletin) or go through Nancy in the office. This process will guide our vision as a parish for a number of years to come, so the more folks who have integrated it, the better. As always, please read through the bulletin and website carefully to keep up to date with the many activities here. I will be in Chicago for a Prayer Institute with which I have been involved for several years. Please keep me in your prayers, and thanks to Fr. Mark and Fr. George for taking on some extra duties. God bless, Fr. Kelly FORMING DISCIPLES IN MISSION WORKSHOP All parishioners interested in our parishes involvement in The Disciples in Mission process are invited to attend a workshop on Saturday, February 25.
