From the desk of Father David The first commandment of God is that we should love the Lord our God with all our heart, with all our mind, with all our strength and with all our soul. The only reason God can ask this of us is because he loved us first with all of his heart, mind, strength and soul. If you don t believe this, just look at a crucifix. Area Programs & Opportunities In Sioux City Iowa abortions are scheduled for the following days: Friday July 15th and Friday July 22nd. Please note that this schedule is somewhat off from the every other week that we have become accustomed to. Won't you please join us in prayer. Your presence may just be that hope a desperate mother may be looking for upon her arrival. Please join us at Mass in the chapel at Mary's Choice beginning at 8:15am on the abortion day. We ask for prayer warriors to try and come at any time during the hours of 8 am and 11:30 am. Sometimes we are not asked what can we do but rather what did we not do. May the Love of Christ encourage your prayerful support for those in such desperate situations that they come to believe they have no choice but to abort. SAVE The Date: Saturday July 30th, 2016 Dr. Steve Pallone will present: "NFP - Better Answers, Better Healing...A Growing Movement in Women's Health Care". Please join us on Saturday July 30th from 2-4 pm in the Blessed Sacrament Parish Center. A witness testimony given by Grady and Corrinna Lenort on the benefits of using NFP in their marriage will also be part of this program. We will have a break for refreshments and then end with the parish Mass at 4:30 pm. Read about the upcoming priest ordination in Mexico in The Catholic Globe! Got news?
