Volume 2, Issue 6 February 3, 2013 R The ADICAL Mission Statement: Mission Statement: The Mission of Radiant Living Worship Center is to advance the cause of Christ through informative preaching, inspiring ministry, and innovative soul winning. To be a place where the anointing of God flows freely and causes all believers to be radiant, radical, and righteous and to shine and soar to the Glory of God. Message from the Bishop: History or His His Story People who fail to know their history are many times doomed to repeat it. Hosea 4:6 states My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. As we step into February, we honor God for His faithfulness throughout January, but also for His grace extended to us as a people throughout our lifetime. Radiant, INSIDENSIDE STORY: we too must give God glory for His love and mercy as we journey to our prepared place. But we must not only remember our history, but reverence His Story. We will not be so deep only to reveal that we are dead. James 1:22 warns us "Do not merely listen to the Word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the Word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like." I think this verse is talking about people who know the Bible, but are fooling themselves. That's kind of scary, isn't it? I mean, we're Bible people, but it's possible to be self-deceived. Why, in the process of getting to know the Bible, one gets selfdeceived? Because you've forgotten that the purpose of studying the Bible isn't just to know the Bible; it's to do it; it's to be changed by it (like looking in the mirror). What needs changing? You don't just get information; you take action. So like the computer buffs, we remember Bible facts, we discuss theology, we look for deeper and deeper meanings, we analyze the Bible, we dissect the Bible, we learn big words for things in the Bible; but, many are getting lost in biblical space. To be sure, we should never take God's revelation lightly. It demands, and it requires serious study. We must let the anointing move us from information to application. As we remember and reverence, I know we cannot avoid His Story. It has been His grace thus far and His grace will lead us on. James Weldon Johnson realized that our history was so intertwined with His Story that he penned these words: God of our weary years, god of our silent tears, thou who has brought us thus far on the way;thou who has by Thy might led us into the light, keep us forever in the path, we pray. Lest our feet stray from the places, our God, where we met Thee, lest our hearts, drunk with the wine of the world, we forget Thee, shadowed beneath thy hand, may we forever stand, true to our God, true to our native land. We would have no history worth remembering, if His Story wasn t so wonderful. Let us remember, let us reverence, and always let us be radiant. Shine and Soar for the Glory of God.! Love you to life. You don t want to miss these powerful, impactful, three nights of praise, worship and a rhema word from God. Bishop Anthony T. Pelt, Sr. Black History Month 2013 Celebrates Crossroads of Freedom During this February, the African American community and the nation as a whole will be celebrating Black History Month using the 85th theme of: At the Crossroads of Freedom and Equality: The Emancipation Proclamation and the March on Washington. The year 2013 marks two important anniversaries in the history of African Americans and the United States. On January 1, 1863, the Emancipation Proclamation set the United States on the path of ending slavery. One hundred years later in 1963, the historic March on Washington, D.C. set forth the alarm that acceptance of racial segregation in America was under attack.

the RADICAL Page 6 of 6 Our Daily Prayer Father, in the name of Jesus, we come into Your presence thanking You for Radiant Living Worship Center. You have called us to be saints in Deerfield Beach, Broward County, Florida and the world. As we lift our voices in one accord, we recognize that You are God and everything was made by and for You. We call into being those things that be not as though they were. We thank You that we all speak the same thing: There is no division among us; we are perfectly joined together in the same mind. Grant to us, Your representatives here, a boldness to speak Your Word, which You will confirm with signs following. We thank You that we have workmen in abundance and all manner of cunning people for every manner of work. Each department operates in the excellence of ministry and intercessions. We have in our church the ministry gifts for the edifying of this Body till we all come into the unity of faith and knowledge of the Son of God unto a mature person. None of our people will be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine. We speak the truth in love. We are a growing and witnessing Body of believers becoming thousands strong. We have every need met. Therefore, we meet the needs of people who come, spirit, soul and body. We ask for the wisdom of God meeting these needs. Father, we thank You for the ministry facilities that will more than meet the needs of the ministry You have called us to. Our church is prospering financially, and we have more than enough to meet every situation. We have everything we need to carry out Your Great Commission to reach the city of Deerfield Beach for Jesus. We are a people of love as love is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. We thank You that the Word of God is living big in all of us and Jesus is Lord! We are a supernatural church, composed of supernatural people doing supernatural things, for we are laborers together with God. We thank You for Your presence among us and we lift our hands and praise Your holy name! Amen. Pray for Healing: Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies. ~ Psalms 103:1-4 NKJV CONTINUED PRAYERS FOR: Dominick Industrious, Malika Hodge Webb, Mother Benjamin, Mother Ginger Hamilton, Jerome Cozart, Genevia Whitney Robinson, Micheal Todd Chance, The Bryant Family, Mother Pelt, Nadine Maylor, Hope Marie, Antonio Williams, Lorene Broxton, Latonya Beasley, Victoria Smith, Charles Graves, Deandre Carter, Mother Addie, Joy Nichols, Louise Fullens, Kaylar Flavius, Tranell Hollis, Jane Gonzalez, Hayward Coleman, Joe & Emmit Byrd, Shirley & Adrian Danfore, Roslyn Renee Brown, Regina Brown Jackson, Betty Carr, Lohman Rahming, Prida Maylor, Willington Hamilton, Krystal & Devin Wright, Harvey Baptise, Sebren Poitier, Andrew McKever, Sr. and Jr., Dick Montgomery, Deacon Ephraim Moorer, Kimberly Royal, Shirley Edward, Daniel Gainey, Angela Troutman, Basil Farrington, Loretta & Russell Byrd, James McCray, John Danfore, Melinda Scott, Phaedra Wiggins, Nikki Scott, Darlene Scott, Virgil Moye, Eddie Miller, Mr. Marshall, Joshua Martin, Jill Farrington, Calvin McCoy, Maurice Poitier, Pastor Jimmy & Iris Williams, Daryle McKever, Irene Thompson, Aeiress Jackson, Jackie Williams, David McFadden, Johnny Moorer, the Mothers Board, Anthony Hickman, Jr., Barbara Parks, US Troops, and friends and family in Haiti.
