The Riding Lights Theatre Group are returning to St. Giles to perform their passion play CROSSLIGHT, the Passion of our Lord as seen through the eyes of his disciple, The Rock, Simon Peter. It draws us into the dramatic events that unfolded and into the experience of one disciple who failed, despite everything he believed so passionately. The performance will be on Saturday 12 th March at 7.30pm. Tickets will be on sale in church as from Sunday 7th February. Prices are 10.00 ( 5.00 young people) if bought before the end of February and thereafter 12.00 and 6.00. Group bookings of 10 or more will be at the price of 10.00 per ticket with no date restriction. For tickets, contact John Prentice on 07590 311992 or see him in church on Sundays between the two morning services. This is a very exciting night to look forward to so why don t you book your ticket in advance and guarantee yourself a seat? St Giles Mission Partners Weekly Collection from St Giles The Friary gratefully receives the following items: Clothing (Men s and women s) Food Small electrical items (e.g kettles and toasters. Please ensure items are in working order) Bedding Toiletries Books Kitchen equipment such as pots, pans, mugs etc Jewellery The Friary s van comes to collect from St Giles every week so please continue to fill the donation box at the back of church thank you for your generosity. Nottingham Friends International are most grateful for the gift of over 500 from the retiring collection at the Carols by Candlelight service. The Friends International team in Nottingham have amazing opportunities to minister to students from all over the world, and this includes opportunities to befriend some from countries where Christian witness is difficult or effectively outlawed. Gifts like this help to sustain and develop the work. Thank you. During 2015 we celebrated 30 years of ministry. We coupled this with a renewed emphasis on reaching the least reached reaching out to international students from countries where it is difficult or unlikely to hear the gospel proclaimed. Lord, we thank you for 30 years of fruitful and exciting ministry. We pray that you would guide us onward and that you would help us reach out to all international students, especially those that are least likely to be reached by the gospel back home. Many thanks to St Giles for the donation of almost 400 to Ha Fusi school, from the retiring collection taken at the Nativity service. The school has just received its public exam results and, once again, we are committing to supporting the next cohort of students through High School, and hopefully on to university.

Lord Jesus Christ, who said Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you : grant your church peace and unity in the faith, to the glory of your name. Amen.
