I hope I have earned the title of Worthy Grand Knight. As indicated at the beginning of the year the most important title is that of Brother Knight. I would like to thank the members and the officers of our Council for all the accomplishments of the year. Without the hard work and dedication of so many, our good works could not be accomplished. Vivat Jesus Brian Marier Grand Knight

Thank you, Henry Chaplain s Report Summer is finally here. We now look forward to warmer days of leisure and fun in the Sun. Summer mornings always seem to draw me closer to God as I sit quietly in the warmth of the Sun s rays, as I hear the sounds and see the beauty that is His creation. I m thankful for these brief encounters mostly because it reminds me that God is with me at every moment of my life and not just on Sundays in church. I recently read something interesting that I would like to share from St. ATHANASIUS. Each Sunday we recite the Nicene Creed, which Saint Athanasius was instrumental in formulating and defending at great risk to his life. When the Nicene Creed was originally drawn up in 325, the chief threat was Arianism, which denied that Jesus was fully God. Arius, a priest of the time, preached that God created the Son, which meant the Son was separate from the Father and not divine. Athanasius offered this argument: Consider the sun and the light streaming from it. Are they not of the same substance and the same essence? The physics might be off, but the theology is sound: Jesus and the Father are one in a way that is as inseparable as light from light. St. Athanasius also is the name of my childhood parish in Brooklyn, New York so you can see why I am partial to his writing and teaching. Peace and blessing to all Deacon Joseph Yannotta

Building Corporation Gentlemen: We are at a critical time for the life and future of the Hall. As the Director of Marketing for the Building Corp, I am asking each and everyone of us to take an active role to insure the future of the Hall. Most of our renters are Social Media savvy. They do research before booking a hall for their event. What is critical is that we, as members all of the Building Corp, help our ongoing efforts to "spread the word" of the renovation and our great facility. The easiest and best way to do this is via Facebook. If you are not familiar with Facebook or seem challenged as to how to use it to our benefit, we will be conducting an upcoming seminar to walk through the steps and get you on board. It is easy and it's help is quite necessary for the sustainability of the Hall. Stay tuned for more and thanks. Mark Stastny and the BC Officers...
