Caitlyn Buser Bowling Green State University Caitlyn Buser is the daughter of Paul and Barb Buser, sister of Chris and Michael and aunt of Briana. Caitlyn graduated from Bowling green State University with her bachelors of art in art with a specialization in two dimensional studies. Caitlyn also spent some of her undergraduate years at Baldwin Wallace University and then at York St. John University during her study abroad trip her junior year. Caitlyn has aspirations of having a career in the field of art therapy and will continue her education to get her graduate degree after taking a year off.

Alexa Vandal Alexa is graduating from Brunswick summa cum laude. She was heavily involved in extracurriculars as a student council officer, member of VOFT, and member of HUDDLE. In addition to these extracurriculars, Alexa was one of the founding members of s Christian Apologetics Club. Alexa has been an enthusiast of art her entire life. This is evident in her zeal to take on challenging art classes and projects (such as crafting her own prom dress). Some of her art was even published in Celebrating Art Magazine. Matching her love for art is her love for animals. She adores her leopard-gecko, Slinky (who she rescued at the brink of starvation), as well as her cats and dog. Whenever outside, Alexa loves to look for, and if possible, interact with the wildlife, earning her the title Master Frog Catcher. Alexa has been blessed with the ability to recognize the beauty of God s creation, opening her eyes all the more to the beauty of God Himself. But ask the beasts, and they will teach you; the birds of the heavens, and they will tell you; or the bushes of the earth, and they will teach you; and the fish of the sea will declare to you. Who among all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this? (Job 12:7-9). Aaron Thomas Bastick Aaron is the son of Sean Bastick and Sheila Sabol, brother to Sean and Courtney. Aaron is graduating with Summa Cum Laude from. He has spent his last year of high school taking courses at Cuyahoga Community College through the college credit plus program. During the summer of 2017, Aaron was invited to attend the National Academy of Future Physicians in Boston, MA, where he was inducted into the society of Torch and Laurel. Aaron has attended BRC for 2 years. He has been involved in Youth Group and was part of the youth mission trip to Detroit, Michigan. He will attend Notre Dame College to pursue his interest in Pre-Med. Creative, charismatic, caring, artistic, and intelligent are but a few of the wonderful qualities embodied in Alexa. These character traits, along with the guidance of wise mentors, have led Alexa to seek a career in teaching art, which she will prepare for in the University of Akron s art education program.

Her coaches and teammates selected Grace for the 2017-18 Soccer Servant Heart Award. Grace was on the basketball cheer squad her freshman year and served in costume design and as a back stage worker for many of the LW musical performances. Grace also is a member of the Longbrooke Summer Swim Team. Carolyn Feeney Carolyn is the daughter of Sheryl and Keith Feeney. She has an older sister, Kathryn and a dog, Zoie. Carolyn will graduate Summa Cum Laude (GPA 3.75-4.0). She will be attending Kent State University in the fall to study a major in Exercise Sciences and a minor in American Sign Language. Carolyn intends on obtaining her Doctor of Physical Therapy to work with the pediatric population. Carolyn has also attended Cuyahoga Community College for the past 2 years part time to start her college academics. Carolyn will be starting school at Kent State 24 credits into her major. Carolyn has attended BRC since 2004. She has been a part of youth group, attended mission trips, participated in VBS and was a member of the Gods Friends Forever Ministry. She has volunteered for multiple events at BRC. In high school Carolyn was a member of the Marching Blue Devils in the Color Guard spinning a sabre. She was the feature Guard Member her senior year in the show The Rites of Spring. Carolyn spent most of her free time in high school volunteering for and with the band. During her high school years, Grace participated in a number of other additional school and church activities such as: a Leadership Conference held at Valparaiso University; Service for the community in the annual City Serve Projects, Attendance at Mission Trips to Detroit and Kentucky and participation in the World Vision 30 hour Famine; Attendance at church summer camps and the recent youth trip to Genesis in Michigan. Grace has also been actively involved in BRC s Sunday School and Youth Group. Inspired by BRC s role with Operation Christmas Child, Grace sought out and obtained a year-round volunteer position with the organization. Grace was born into BRC, as her grandmother, Marilyn Zeigler, was one of the church s founding members. Although she is a lifetime member of BRC, sharing her baptism location is always a fun story since she was baptized at the Regal Cinema during the temporarily displacement of BRC to the movie theater due to structural issues. Grace will attend Xavier University (Cincinnati, OH) in the fall to pursue her areas of interest in Business Marketing and Data Analytics. Grace you have brought such joy to our lives and we are so proud of the amazing woman you have become. We are excited to see what God has planned for you as you begin this next chapter of your life. All of Our Love Dad, Mom & Joey XOXO And I am sure of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:6

Jordan is also a man of many hobbies, all the way from reading on apologetics and theology to sword collecting. God has placed a heart of curiosity and wonder within him, bringing Jordan to enjoy exploring the outdoors on camping trips with friends as well as discovering new arguments for the existence of God. He has grown into a respectable young man who has a passion for the Lord and is one of the most caring individuals anyone could know. If Jordan isn t reading, he is somewhere that he wishes he could be reading. And as one of his favorite theologians, R. C. Sproul said, You can t love Jesus and not love His word. In the fall, Jordan will be attending Grace College and Theological Seminary for Biblical Studies. Grace was very active during her time at Lutheran West. She served as Student Council VP & Treasurer; received her letter for participation on the Soccer Team and served as the Senior Team Captain.
