We are blessed to have raised $2,800 for our youth group programs, servant events, conferences and 2019 national youth gathering. We couldn't have done this without your support. E.A.T. @ Buffalo Wild Wings in Savoy - The May E.A.T. night will be at Buffalo Wild Wings in Savoy on Monday, May 14 th, all day. Buffalo Wild Wings is giving back 15% of our purchases. Bring in the flyer to make sure that 15% of the proceeds will be donated to St. John Lutheran School. Don t forget to pick up a gift card from Ram Rebate. We need your help - We are still in need of greeters. You can sign up on the Greeters & Ushers sheet in the overflow area in the back of the church. Thank you from the Evangelism Board. Volunteers Needed - We are in need of people to be wedding coordinators for our church. Basic responsibilities would be to answer questions for the bride and groom regarding the use of our facilities, run through the rehearsal, and be present for the wedding. Having wedding coordinators takes much responsibility off of the Pastor and church office, so having this service is very much appreciated. Our previous coordinators created a wonderful manual with all of the needed information readily available. Please contact the church office if you would be willing to help in any way. Fire Alarm Update - The system is fully functional but requires some minor changes to get a final approval by the city inspector. Trustees hope to have those revisions completed soon by the contractor. The fundraising efforts have collected just over $29,000 to pay for the anticipated cost of approximately $95,000. The remainder is being paid with existing funds. The Trustees and Finance Board hope to raise at least 50% or more of the total cost. We would like to continue to thank those who have donated time and finances to this project. Prairie Gardens Gift Cards - Before you start your spring planting, purchase $10 Prairie Gardens Gift Cards sold by PTF. PTF gets 20% from each card sold. Gift cards may be used on any purchase (not just plants and flowers). The cards do not expire and will carry a balance if you spend less than $10. The money earned from this fundraiser goes towards items that the teachers or school need to purchase, family fun events throughout the school year, and special requests from the teachers for classroom items. Gift cards are available now in the school office.
