Butts/Clayton/Henry/Spaulding County FCA Fall 2015 Highlights From: Jacob Johnson Sent: Thursday, October 08, 2015 9:35 AM To: Jacob Johnson Subject: Program Transformation Good Morning Everyone, I hope you are all enjoying the transition into the fall season as much as I am! As you all know I have only been on staff for 120 days, but what impactful time it has been. The story here is the incredible transformation I have seen within a program that I work with on a weekly basis. From top to bottom (head coach down to managers) the attitudes, language, energy, and effort have drastically changed. Coach Zito (Head Coach) implemented a weekly post practice exercise called the spot light drill where one man from his team stands in front of 70-80 other teammates and they simply compliment him on attributes he has away from the football field. This exercise is teaching these young men how to speak truth and life into another person s life. This is something that is so counter cultural in our society today, and witnessing this in person will literally bring tears to your eyes. I ll leave you with this: Seeing a head football coach transform from a fundamentals of the game type of guy, into a man that wants to pour into every single one his players hearts and minds has been an absolute JOY to witness. Thank you for your investment in me, and the FCA ministry. I wouldn t be able to do what God has called me to do without each one of you! Blessings, Jacob Johnson Assistant Area Director FCA 770-869-4894

From: Mike Roby Sent: Tuesday, September 15, 2015 10:40 AM To: Mike Roby Subject: FCA Gridiron Game/Article- 2pics Happy Tuesday- Last week was our 3 rd annual FCA Gridiron Classic week. What started 3 years ago as a vision from 2 head coaches has now grown into something much larger than we could have ever imagined. Birthed from the Chick-fil-a Bowl breakfast we were able to take a bowl week experience and bring it to the High School Football level. With the passing of one of those original coaches this summer (Coach Joe Teknipp), this game was even more special. This was the final year for the two original schools as we now take the game over the next two years and reach additional schools in our community. Last Tuesday night we held our annual dinner banquet for both teams. We had testimony s from both coaches and players. To hear these athletes and coaches talk about their spiritual growth through the FCA staff and volunteers that are investing in their lives was amazing. Another reminder of how great God is! At the conclusion of the banquet we also announced that the FCA Gridiron Trophy moving forward was be named in Coach Joe Teknipp s honor and legacy. Picture attached. Here is article written by local paper: http://www.henryherald.com/news/2015/sep/09/jonesboroeagle8217s-landing-come-together-for/ The game Friday night was a battle between both schools which is what we expect. Both programs played with a ton of class, character, and integrity which was even noted by the referees after the game. Lastly, I have attached one other photo which is the pregame prayer that took place just 2 minutes before the start of the game. It s easy to look past the photo and say, that s great. However, I just don t want any of us to lose the fact that this just doesn t happen. You see, GHSA has rules against teams coming together prior to a game (for security reason). We have to get special permission from the referees (by God s grace) to even allow this to happen. To see this photo and understand that young men, coaches, trainers, and even referees have taken time to pray in front of a full stadium is nothing less than a miracle that only God could allow. From: Mike Roby Sent: Monday, October 26, 2015 10:59 AM To: Mike Roby Subject: Ministry outside our So.Metro Atl area... Happy Monday! I know we are all a little partial to the work God is doing in south metro Atlanta but this past month we have been blessed with an opportunity to reach communities and COUNTRIES outside our south metro bubble. Earlier this month I was able to conduct a 3Dimensional Coaching clinic with what is the largest school district in the state of Georgia, Gwinnett County. With 28 High Schools in one county and countless numbers of youth parks we were able to partner with The Bridge Church in Gwinnett to host the 3D Clinic. To hear coaches at the end say I wish I would have had this material 20 years ago just reminds us that it s never too late to reach our community. I am excited to hear how God uses this clinic to transform Gwinnett. 3 years ago I met Nick Windisch by chance in a local restaurant. Nick began then volunteering in our FCA ministry whenever he could and you could see his heart to work with youth in our community. A little over a year ago Nick shared with me that he felt God calling him and his family to international missions and specifically working with the Turkish people. As we all do, I watched Nick begin the process of praying and raising support to enter the mission field. The first of October our FCA ministry made a financial donation to support Nick and his family and I am pleased to announce that they left this past Tuesday on their way to Turkey. One, those of you that support this ministry financially need to know that we are not only investing in our local community but have also now invested in next generation missionaries in other countries. Two, please keep the Windisch family in prayer as they enter a WHOLE new world with their children. I will keep you updated. Mike Roby FCA Area Director- South Metro Atlanta

Coweta County FCA Fall 2015 Highlights From: Rob Brass Sent: Wednesday, November 11, 2015 10:34 AM To: Randy Bruno Subject: A Chosen Vessel Coweta FCA Teammates The fact that the FCA Huddle at Evans MS has grown from 20 in September to 96 this morning was a big enough blessing. But the blessing went much deeper. Pastor Ken Norton told the kids the story of how Saul became Paul through an encounter with Jesus; how he went from being a persecutor of Christians to being a chosen vessel to spread the good news of Christ and how each kid in there is a chosen vessel as well. I couldn t help being overjoyed knowing that one young lady who I saw get in a fight last week was this week hearing a message of hope. And one young man in the crowd who has been suspended for attacking a bus driver was now hearing that there is One who loves him deeply and will change his life. I m so thankful that these 2 chosen vessels and nearly a hundred others got to hear the good news this morning! From: Rob Brass Sent: Thursday, October 22, 2015 10:04 AM To: Randy Bruno Subject: RE: More Bibles -- (Update) Quick update on Bibles and the Northgate FCA from Volunteer Tamara Ledford I love God and I love these Northgate kids!!!! After our speaker today, a student raised her hand and asked if she could share her testimony!!!

Praise God for ALL He does and ALL He is!!! And they loved the Bibles again! Thank you for your support and prayers always! From: Rob Brass Sent: Wednesday, September 23, 2015 9:27 PM To: Randy Bruno Subject: Acts 1:14 Below are pictures from some of our schools here in Coweta County during today s See You At The Pole prayer session. Young people praying for their teachers, administrators, coaches and for each other. It was a blessing to witness and refreshing to see so many kids praying with and for each other. God was glorified.

They all met together and were constantly UNITED in prayer. Acts 1:14 Here is info if you d like to get involved next year www.syatp.com Thank you for your part in this ministry! Your prayers, time and financial support are vital to what we do. Blessings. Rob Brass Coweta FCA (404)944-1190

Fayette County FCA - Fall 2015 Highlights From: Mark Anderson Sent: Thursday, October 15, 2015 4:53 PM To: Mark Anderson Subject: Home Team Update. 10-15-15. Humbled and Ready Home Team, October to date can only be shared by saying over and over how HUMBLED I am to serve with YOU and so many others through this phenomenal movement called FCA!! Each year has seen growth spiritually, personally and throughout our community and I pray with you together two things: 1. That YOU are feeling and experiencing the joy of being part of the FCA Home Team. 2. That WE see the power potential of daily seeking Impact the world for Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:3-11 Only October 15 th and some of the most significant impacts I ve experienced in the four years sharing FCA with you! New Huddles, New relationships, Banquet and Fields Of Faith are added on top of the humble joy it is to already share daily with our coaches/faculty, students, Board and community. From: Paul Dennis Sent: Monday, November 02, 2015 10:42 AM To: Randy Bruno Subject: blessed Randy, Good Morning! I had an amazing Saturday and Sunday and just had to share it! Saturday was prayer breakfast at Ft. Benning. It was a 3 gun camp hosted by the Army Marksmanship Unit and attended by students from across the US. The top shooters in the world were the instructors and the students are among the best HS shooters. They had to come early for the breakfast and I was not sure how many would show up (o me of little faith) at 0800 hrs. God really favored this event and I believe all the campers and their parents attended. They consumed 200 chicken minis, 5 doz doughnut holes, 6 doz muffins, 100 granola bars, 4 doz doughnuts and several gallons of coffee, hot cocoa, apple and orange

juice. They were incredibly receptive to the Word as I preached. Great time visiting with the students and parents. We are planning to do a banquet at this event next year. Sunday I preached AM and PM at New Lebanon in Coweta County. I have been filling in some while they search for a Pastor. There is a real spirit of revival at the church. I baptized 3 yesterday morning and have several more lined up including a father of 6 who was saved this week! A full alter like we had last night makes the preachers heart full on Monday morning. Thanks for listening, I just had to share a bit. And thanks for your leadership and encouragement.
