Fisher The Chancel Bell Choir; Jo Christian, director WELCOME CALL TO WORSHIP One: I looked and heard the voice of angels, thousands and thousands around God s throne, singing: All: Worthy is the lamb who was slain to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessings! One: Then I heard every creature on earth, and under the earth, and in the sea, singing: All: To the one who is seated on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever! Heal us of our sin, wash us in your mercy, and feed us with your grace, so that we may follow your way and tell the good news of the gospel. Amen. SILENT CONFESSION in Jesus name we pray. For our deepened appreciation of the miracle of music and the delight of discovering the variety of sounds our bells can make: For the composers and arrangers, of challenging and inspiring bell choir music, and for our director, who teaches and encourages us to ring with skill and grace: For the saints and holy men and women who experienced the sacred in music and who continue to inspire us each day: For the privilege and delight of participating in the long tradition that uses bells to remind your people of you: For the wonderful friendships And all the unexpected joys and blessings We receive each time this bell choir plays: We offer our thanks and praise in Jesus name.
