The Calendar Part 4 High Shabbat/High Day: Where in the T [h] urah or Tanahk do we find a High shabbath? John 19:31 The Yahudiym therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the shabbath day, (for that shabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. Only those feast, that falls on the shabbaths or coincide with the weekly Sabbath are regarded as High Sabbaths. Here is the question. Where can we find that Feast Days can fall on Shabbath? {The gathering part of the Shabbath}. How are the cycles of Jubilee counted? The same way we would for the Feast of Weeks. 7 shabbaths must be complete, and then the fiftieth-day closes out the Feast. Lev. 23:15 And you shall count unto you from the morrow after the shabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven shabbaths shall be complete: Lev. 23:16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh shabbath shall you number fifty days; and you shall offer a new meat offering unto Yahuah. o Take note that there is an agricultural theme with this Feast. Jubilees Lev. 25:2 Speak unto the children of Yashra al {Yisrael/Israel}, and say unto them, When you come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a shabbath unto Yahuah. Lev. 25:3 Six years you shall sow your field, and six years you shall prune your vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof; Lev. 25:4 But in the seventh year shall be a shabbath of rest unto the land, a shabbath for Yahuah: you shall neither sow your field, nor prune your vineyard. Lev. 25:8 And you shall number seven shabbaths of years unto you, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven shabbaths of years shall be unto you forty and nine years. Lev. 25:9 Then shall you cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall you make the trumpet sound throughout all your land. Lev. 25:10 And you shall set-apart the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and you shall return every man unto his possession, and you shall return every man unto his family. Lev. 25:11 A jubilee shall that fiftieth year be unto you: you shall not sow, neither reap that which grows of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of your

vine undressed. o Take note there is an agricultural theme with this Feast as well. This is on a bigger scale, but we can see that they are entwined. Shabbaths are also apart of these counts. So it is very important to see they must be patterned with the shabbaths. {7shabbaths and 7 weeks = Feast of Weeks = 49 7 years of shabbaths times 7 years = Jubilee = 49}. Everything here is in cycles of 7. The only cycle that the number 7 divides evenly with is the solar cycles. o I would to bring out one more thing. The Day of Atonement is linked to this day as well. It happens that all these must be in an alignment. Lev. 25:9 Then shall you cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall you make the trumpet sound throughout all your land. Lev. 25:15 According to the number of years after the jubilee you shall buy of your neighbor, and according unto the number of years of the fruits he shall sell unto you: Lev. 25:16 According to the multitude of years you shall increase the price thereof, and according to the fewness of years you shall diminish the price of it: for according to the number of the years of the fruits does he sell unto you. Before we link these numbers to the book of Daniel. I want us to consider three things concerning the Jubilee 1. This count is a consistent count of Shabbaths. So shabbaths are linked together. 2. It is connected to the First Fruits. 3. It is connected to the Feast of Weeks. What this means is however you keep the shabbaths, you have to use that same method to count your Jubilee. The same way you are counting the shabbath and Jubilee, is the same way you will have to count for the Feast of Weeks. Which is linked to the Harvest/Agriculture of the First Fruits. If the moon cycles were 10 days shorter than the Solar cycles every year, you would have to add 30 days every 3rd year. You would have to create 4 shabbaths, 4 weeks out of thin air to keep the count alive. Now comparing this with the Jubilee count, this means you will have to add 30 days every 3 years for 49 years. I would not have a problem with this if it was written in scripture or be able to read it in other scriptures that were before the Exile of Babylon. Why all extra writings talks about 13 th month during and after the exile period? A simpler method would be to recognize the greater light and use the solar cycles, which is more accurate than the moon, for use of Agriculture and Feast. This is why the moon has to calibrated back to the cycles of the sun every 3 sometimes 2 years. Lev. 25 talks of the Jubilees. This is 7 cycles of 7. 10 jubilees adds up to 490 Years. Divide this by 7, which will give you week(s). This will give us the 70 weeks. So the jubilees are linked to the story in Daniels. The Book of Jubilees quotes this as well.

Dan. 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon your people and upon your set-apart city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Set-apart. Dan. 9:25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Mashiyach {Messiah} the Prince shall be seven weeks {7 weeks}, and threescore and two weeks {62 weeks} : the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. Dan. 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Mashiyach {Messiah} be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. Dan. 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one {1} week { שׁ בוּע 7} : and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. The breakdown in the numbering of the 70 weeks is as follows 70 x 7 = 490. Days times years 62 + 7 = 69. Days times years o 3 ½ + 3 ½ = 7 {62 + 7 = 69. 1 prophet day is missing from the 70 weeks. This is broken down by the 3 ½ + 3 ½ =7}. Where is the 3 ½ coming from? In the middle of the week shall He be cut off. o The 3 ½ is in prophetic counting. 3 ½ = 3 ½ years or 42 months or 1260 days. o Counting Prophetically: Ezek. 4:4 Lie you also upon your left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Yashra al {Yisrael/Israel} upon it: according to the number of the days that you shall lie upon it you shall bear their iniquity. Ezek. 4:5 For I have laid upon you the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shall you bear the iniquity of the house of Yashra al {Yisrael/Israel}. Ezek. 4:6 And when you have accomplished them, lie again on your right side, and you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Yahudah forty days: I have appointed you each day for a year. Ezek. 4:7 Therefore you shall set your face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and your arm shall be uncovered, and you shall prophesy against it. We also know that Daniel was quoting from Jeremiah which speaks of the 70 years. So we know Daniels 70 Weeks equals the 70 years. We also know that the 70 years is multiplied by 7, which equal 490 years. But for the sake of this study we are just focusing on what body of light would this count work with.

What we have now is according to scriptures the first part of the 3 ½ days/years have been fulfilled. The later 3 ½ has yet to be fulfilled. All of this just to say where can we find this last half, and what cycle is this count governed by, the lunar or the solar? Dan. 7:9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. Dan. 7:10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened. Dan. 7:11 I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spoke: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame. Dan. 7:12 As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time. Dan. 7:13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. Dan. 7:14 And there was given him dominion, and esteem, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. Dan. 7:22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom. Dan. 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. {Concerning the Beast} Time = 1 times = 2 dividing of time ½. Total = 3 ½ years Rev. 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. Rev. 11:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. Rev. 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. Rev. 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon, which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with him? Rev. 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

Rev. 13:6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against Alahiym, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. Rev. 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindred, and tongues, and nations. Rev. 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Rev. 13:9 If any man have an ear, let him hear. What are the parallels {our focus is in red}? 3 ½ time, times and half 42 months 1260 Saints Beasts Kingdom Book(s). 30 day x 42 months = 1260 days 12 months in a year. So 12 + 12 + 12 +6 = 42 We should see that the solar calendar is being used for the following: Shabbath Feast of Weeks Feast Days /{Hkags} Jubilee Daniels timeline Revelations timeline All can be seen just using the scriptures that most are comfortable using. The number 70 can be seen throughout scripture. Mashiyach for example gives the 70 x 7 for forgiveness. Which is why He lines up with the Daniel prophecy. What was His message? Repent for the Kingdom is at hand. Let us read the part of forgiveness. Matt. 18:21 Then came Kepha {Peter} to him, and said, Teacher, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Matt. 18:22 Yahusha says unto him, I say not unto you, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. Dan. 9:2 In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of Yahuah came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. Jer. 25:12 And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, says Yahuah, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual desolations. Jer. 29:10 For thus says Yahuah, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place. 2Chr. 36:20 And them that had escaped from the sword carried he away to Babylon; where they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia: 2Chr. 36:21 To fulfill the word of Yahuah by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed her shabbaths: for as long as she lay desolate she kept shabbath, to fulfill

threescore and ten years {70 year}. 2Chr. 36:22 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of Yahuah spoken by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, Yahuah stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying, Ezra 1:1 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of Yahuah by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, Yahuah stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying, Ezra 1:2 Thus says Cyrus king of Persia, Yahuah Alahiym of heaven has given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he has charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Yahudah. Ezra 1:3 Who is there among you of all his people? his Alahiym be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Yahudah, and build the house of Yahuah Alahiym of Yashra al {Yisrael/Israel}, (he is the Alahiym,) which is in Jerusalem. All of these passages are cycles of 7 s. The Land receiving its shabbaths, the 70 weeks, or 70 x 7 or 490 or 10 Jubilees. All solar based counts. The Moon and Start are incorporated into the Solar count. How do we know this? The Moon cycles has to be calibrated to the solar calendar every 3 years. The sun and moon goes through a certain star constellation every year. Nehemiah Neh. 1:1 The words of Nehemiah the son of Hachaliah. And it came to pass in the month Chisleu, in the twentieth year, as I was in Shushan the palace, (kis lēw): n.pr.; Str 3691; TWOT 1012 LN 67.163 67.200 (month כּ ס ל ו 4075 of calendar) Kislev: the 9th month of the Babylonian calendar, now known as November-December (Ne 1:1; Zec 7:1+) Neh. 2:1 And it came to pass in the month Nisan, in the twentieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that wine was before him: and I took up the wine, and gave it unto the king. Now I had not been beforetime sad in his presence. (nî sān): n.pr.; Str 5212; TWOT 1359 LN 67.163 67.200 (month of נ יס ן 5772 calendar) Nisan: first month of the Babylonian calendar, equal to Canaanite month of Abib, now known as March-April (Ne 2:1; Est 3:7+) 1Kings 8:2 And all the men of Yashra al {Yisrael/Israel} assembled themselves unto king {Shalamah/Shelomo/Solomon} at the feast in the month Ethanim, which is the seventh שׁ למ ה month. yerach, yeh -rakh; from a unused root of uncertain signification; a י ר ח 3391. lunation, i.e. month: month, moon. versions) (ʾē ṯā nîm): n.pr.; Str 388; LN 67.163 67.200 (most א ת נ ים 923 (month of calendar) Ethanim: the 7th month of Canaanite calendar equal to Babylonian Tishri, now known as September-October (1Ki 8:2+), note:

Phoenician inscriptions have been found that mention Ethanim and Bul. So we can say that these are not Hebrew names for the Hebrew Calendar. shbiʿiy, sheb-ee-ee ; ordinal from שׁ ב ע י shbiyʿiy, sheb-ee-ee ; or שׁ ב יע י 7637. 7657; seventh: seventh (time). chodesh, kho -desh; from 2318; the new moon; by implication, a ח ד שׁ 2320. month: month(-ly), new moon. Before moving on we can see that on one hand the word Ethanim is used for the 7 th month. And the Word for month used before this word Ethanim is Yarach. However when using the seventh month, which was how the Hebrews would have said this, it uses the word hkodesh. Not Yarach. The Word Yarach which means moon would have been used vs. hkodesh if they wanted us to know the moon is for months. But this is not the case. Josephus says that the ancient reckoning was from the fall, but Moses, however, appointed Nisan, that is to say Xanthicus [the corresponding Macedonian month name], as the first month for the festivals, because it was in this month that he brought the Hebrews out of Mitsraiym {Egypt} ; he also reckoned this month as the selling and buying and other ordinary affairs he preserved the ancient order (Antiquities i 3. 3. Loeb ed.). The two words for end in these verses are tequpha, meaning a circle, rotation, completion, and se th, meaning a going forth. The second is more exact, for the 7th month of the civil year. In contrast to the going forth of the year in the autumn, the spring is called the return (teshubah, from shub, to turn back ) of the year. LN 67.163 67.200 unit: תּ שׁוּב ה שׁ נ ה (t e šû ḇā(h) šā nā(h))2 spring, formally, return of the year, i.e., a definite season of the year after the cold season, likely at the end of the latter rains, and before the heat of summer, so quite approximately latter March to early May (2Sa 11:1; 1Ki 20:22, 26; 1Ch 20:1; 2Ch 36:10+) 1Kings 20:22 And the prophet came to the king of Yashra al {Yisrael/Israel}, and said unto him, Go, strengthen yourself, and mark, and see what you do: for at the return of the year the king of Syria will come up against you.

o 1Kings 20:22 {ESV} Then the prophet came near to the king of Yashra al {Yisrael/Israel} and said to him, Come, strengthen yourself, and consider well what you have to do, for in the spring the king of Syria will come up against you. 1Kings 20:26 And it came to pass at the return of the year, that Benhadad numbered the Syrians, and went up to Aphek, to fight against Yashra al {Yisrael/Israel}. o 1Kings 20:26 {ESV} In the spring, Ben-hadad mustered the Syrians and went up to Aphek to fight against Yashra al {Yisrael/Israel}. 2Sam. 11:1 And it came to pass, after the year was expired, at the time when kings go forth to battle, that Daud {David} sent Yuab {Joab}, and his servants with him, and all Yashra al {Yisrael/Israel} ; and they destroyed the children of Ammon, and besieged Rabbah. Both the going forth {autumn} and the return {spring/vernal} of the year are consistent in referring to the cycles of the year. Qumran uses the ordinal month names. However we see in Nehemiah that Babylonian names were used. At first glance we think that he adopted the calendar, just as we read earlier. However we can also take note that he might have been using two calendars. One under political reasoning, which would be the Babylonian calendar, and the calendar, Hebrew calendar dealing with Feast days. Neh. 7:72 And that which the rest of the people gave was twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand pound of silver, and threescore and seven priests garments. {The setting for the feast}. Neh. 8:2 And Ezra the priest brought the law before the congregation both of men and women, and all that could hear with understanding, upon the first day of the seventh month. Neh. 8:14 And they found written in the law which Yahuah had commanded by Mushah {Mosheh/Moses}, that the children of Yashra al {Yisrael/Israel} should dwell in booths in the feast of the seventh month:

Can you see on one hand he uses the Babylonian calendar, but when speaking of the Feast he uses the ordinal way, which is how they would have used the names of the months? This is actually how we do things today. We use multiple calendars as well. New wine and Oil {11QT} Neh. 13:10 And I perceived that the portions of the Levites had not been given them: for the Levites and the singers, that did the work, were fled every one to his field. Neh. 13:11 Then contended I with the rulers, and said, Why is the house of Alahiym forsaken? And I gathered them together, and set them in their place. Neh. 13:12 Then brought all Yahudah the tithe of the corn and the new wine and the oil unto the treasuries. Neh. 13:13 And I made treasurers over the treasuries, Shelemiyah the priest, and Zadok the scribe, and of the Levites, Pedaiyah: and next to them was Hanan the son of Zaccur, the son of Mattaniyah: for they were counted faithful, and their office was to distribute unto their brethren. Neh. 13:14 Remember me, O my Alahiym, concerning this, and wipe not out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my Alahiym, and for the offices thereof. Neh. 13:31 And for the wood offering, at times appointed, and for the first fruits. Remember me, O my Alahiym, for good. The oil, the wine, and the wood offerings were commanded in scripture. A close look at how Nehemiah and the Zadok priest operated in the 2 nd Temple is the same way the Essence stated in the scrolls. They had times appointed for oil, wine and wood.
