When we see bad things happen in our lives, it is easy to conclude we are being punished for something bad we have done. 3. When we look at others lives, there is actually more going on than what we know. Another way we deal with suffering and pain and difficulty and brokenness is by minimizing it. 2. We reduce people s pain to something smaller than it actually is. 3.
