Parish News WOMENS SPIRITUAL SPA HOLIDAY EVENT - THURSDAY, DECEMBER 4, 2014 Carol Holden returns on December 4 to lead us for the Holiday Spiritual Spa. Carol received her Doctor of Ministry degree from St. Mary of the Lake University in Mundelein, Illinois and her Masters of Arts Degree in Theology from Loyola University of Chicago. She is a nationally known speaker working with various ministries, including retreats and religious community renewal. She is also active in teaching and leadership development and has co-authored two books on leadership and resources in parish ministry. COME TO THE MANGER Mary s YES was the beginning of a life of faith and a response to something bigger than herself. Yet her decision was affirmed as visitors came from near and far to adore and praise her Child. Saying YES to that which is unknown can be scary, if not accompanied by a life of faith. Advent invites us to take time to reflect on moments in our lives where faith challenged us to respond with trust, waiting, embracing and rejoicing in God. Felician Sisters Convent 3800 W.
