Celebration of the Lord s Supper We will celebrate the Lord s Supper during the morning service today. There will be a retiring offering for benevolence at the end of the service. VBS Volunteer Meeting We are looking for volunteers to help through the summer! Each Sunday evening from June to August, kids from the church and around the community will have the opportunity to learn more about God in an interactive way. There will be a meeting tonight from 5:00-7:30 p.m. in the Elementary Chapel (A-256) for those interested in helping out. For more info, contact Pastor Bryan Miller. ABF Backyard BBQs Announcements Israel Trip The Tri-City Baptist Church 2018 Israel Trip is only 3 days away! Please be in prayer for all those on the tour. Each year our Adult Bible Fellowships hold a backyard BBQ in celebration of Memorial Day. If you do not attend an ABF, choose one and enjoy some good food and fellowship! This year most of the BBQs will be on the weekend of May 27. Summer Enrichment During the summer break, Tri-City Baptist Church offers Summer Enrichment, a 10-week day camp full of fun and educational activities such as field trips to the Children s Museum and the Arizona Science Center, Makutu s Island and other destinations. Academic enrichment includes math, reading, spelling, grammar, and computer skills. Summer Enrichment is open to children ages 5-12 and begins Tuesday, May 29 and continues until August 3. Register online now at www.tricityministries.org. Vacation Bible School: Camp Moose on the Loose Sunday, June 3, at 6:00 p.m. our Vacation Bible School adventure at Tri-City begins! Each Sunday evening from June to August, kids from K3-6th grade will experience a camping theme with tents, campfires, and wildlife. They will learn about the life of Christ, as seen through the eyes of Peter, and will discover the lasting forgiveness that only Christ can give. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins (1 John 1:9). For more information, contact Pastor Bryan Miller.

New Members Class: Doorway Fellowship Our next Doorway Fellowship begins Sunday, June 10 at 10:45 a.m. in room A-268 (on the second floor). This eight week class is a great opportunity for prospective members to connect with Pastor Mike Sproul. Topics from theology to fundamentalist history to church operation and more will be addressed during this class. Sign up at the Welcome Center! The Masculine Mandate Announcements Book of the Month In this book, Richard D. Phillips cuts through the cultural confusion, highlights God s mandate for men, and encourages readers to join him on a journey of repentance and renewal. Phillips begins in the Garden of Eden, drawing foundational teaching for men from the earliest chapters of God s Word. This is teaching that reaches into all of life. Christian men today need to examine their hearts and embrace their God given mandate. Only then will they be able to recognize their high calling, and by God s grace, serve faithfully in whatever context God has placed them. News From Our Missionaries Dear Dr. Ball, Professor Tsuma teaches in a public university and has been attending our church for over 10 years; but he was not saved. We have been praying earnestly to see him come to Christ. His wife got saved in our church about 12 years ago. She is a fine Christian and leads women in our church. I had shared the Gospel with him about 2 weeks ago but he wasn t ready. Yesterday, he told me that I could visit him today (Monday evening). It was it! Professor Tsuma has just asked Christ to forgive and save him. I led him through the prayer of repentance but, I still find it hard to believe. His wife Elizabeth could not contain her emotions as she was crying as he prayed. She gave him a big hug as she said, I had fasted for 2 days for this day. It is the Lord s doing and it s marvellous in our sight. Glory to the Lamb of God. Pastor Josiah Wambua Memorizing God's Word in 2018! Week Twenty : Daniel 11:32b (NKJV) The people who know their God shall be strong; and carry out great exploits.
