(2) When arrogance has come, then comes shame, but with the humble people is wisdom. (3) The integrity of upright people will guide them, but the crookedness of the ones being treacherous will destroy them. (4) Wealth does not profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death. (5) The righteousness of a person of integrity will make straight his way, but the wicked will fall in his own wickedness. (6) The righteousness of the upright will deliver them, but the ones being treacherous will be captured in their desire. Proverbs 11:7-15 In Community (7) In the death of an evil man his expectation will perish, and the hope of wealth will have been destroyed.

(9) The godless person will destroy his neighbor with his mouth, but the righteous people will be delivered in knowledge. (10) When the righteous people receive good things, a city rejoices; and when the wicked people are destroyed there is a shout of joy. (11) A town will be exalted in the blessing of upright people, but in the mouth of wicked people it will be destroyed. (12) The One who is despising his neighbor is lacking heart, but a man of understanding will keep silent. (13) A slanderer is going around revealing secrets, but one being faithful of spirit is concealing a matter. (14) Without guidance a people will fall, but deliverance is in the abundance of advisors. (15) With trouble he will have trouble because he has given security for a stranger, but the one hating striking of hands is secure.

(1) Scales of deception are an abomination מ ר מ ה מ אז נ י.א תוֹע ב ת zugoi; dovlioi bdevlugma to Yahweh, but a just stone is His delight. :ר צוֹנוֹ שׁ ל מ ה ו א ב ן י הו ה ejnwvpion kurivou, stavqmion de; divkaion dekto;n aujtw'/. (2) When arrogance has come, then comes shame, ק לוֹן ו י ב א ז דוֹן בּ א.ב ou eja;n eijsevlqh/ u{bri", ejkei' kai; ajtimiva: but with the humble people is wisdom. צ נוּע ים-ו א ת :ח כ מ ה stovma de; tapeinw'n meleta'/ sofivan. (3) The integrity of upright people י שׁ ר י ם ת מ ת.ג ajpoqanw;n divkaio" e[lipen will guide them, but the crookedness of ת נ ח ם ו ס ל ף metavmelon, provceiro" de; givnetai kai; the ones being treacherous will destroy them. :[י שׁ ד ם] (ו שׁ ד ם) בּ ג ד ים ejpivcarto" ajsebw'n ajpwvleia.

(4) Wealth does not profit in the day of wrath, ע ב ר ה בּ יוֹם הוֹן יוֹע יל-ל א.ד but righteousness delivers from death. :מ מ ו ת ת צ יל וּצ ד ק ה (5) The righteousness of a person of integrity ת מ ים צ ד ק ת.ה dikaiosuvnh ajmwvmou" will make straight his way, but the wicked ת י שׁ ר ד ר כּ וֹ וּ ב ר שׁ ע ת וֹ ojrqotomei' ojdouv", ajsevbeia de; will fall in his own wickedness. י פּ ל : ר שׁ ע peripivptei ajdikiva/. (6) The righteousness of the upright י שׁ ר י ם צ ד ק ת.ו dikaiosuvnh ajndrw'n ojrqw'n will deliver them, but the ones being treacherous ת צ יל ם וּב ה וּ ת rjuvetai aujtouv", will be captured in their desire. :י ל כ דוּ בּ ג ד ים ajlivskontai paravnomoi. th'/ de; ajpwleiva/ aujtw'n

(7) In the death of an evil man ר שׁ ע א ד ם בּ מוֹת.ז teleuthvsanto" ajndro;" dikaivou his expectation will perish, ת ק ו ה ת אב ד oujk o[llutai ejlpiv", and the hope of wealth אוֹנ ים ו תוֹח ל ת to; de; kauvchma tw'n ajsebw'n will have been destroyed. :א ב ד ה o[llutai. (8) A righteous person has been delivered from distress,.ח צ ד יק מ צ ר ה נ ח ל ץ divkaio" ejk qhvra" ejkduvnei, but a wicked person will come instead of him. :ת ח ת יו ר שׁ ע ו י ב א ajntæ aujtou' de; paradivdotai oj ajsebhv". (9) The godless person will destroy his neighbor.ט בּ פ ה ח נ ף י שׁ ח ת ejn stovmati ajsebw'n pagi;" with his mouth, but the righteous people ר ע הוּ וּב ד ע ת polivtai", ai[sqhsi" de; will be delivered in knowledge. :י ח ל צוּ צ ד יק ים dikaivwn eu[odo".

(10) When the righteous people receive.י בּ טוּב צ ד יק ים ejn ajgaqoi'" dikaivwn good things, a city rejoices; ק ר י ה ת ע ץ katwvrqwsen povli", and when the wicked people are destroyed ר שׁ ע ים וּב א ב ד there is a shout of joy. : ר נ ה (11) A town will be exalted in the blessing of.יא בּ ב ר כּ ת י שׁ ר י ם stovmasin de; ajsebw'n kateskavfh. upright people, but in the mouth וּב פ י ק ר ת ת רוּם of wicked people it will be destroyed. : ת ה ר ס ר שׁ ע ים (12) The One who is despising his neighbor is lacking heart,.יב ל ר ע הוּ-בּ ז ל ב-ח ס ר mukthrivzei polivta" ejndeh;" frenw'n, but a man of understanding will keep silent. : י ח ר י שׁ ת בוּנוֹת ו א ישׁ ajnh;r de; frovnimo" hjsucivan a[gei.

(13) A slanderer is going around revealing סוֹד-מ ג ל ה ר כ יל הוֹל.יג ajnh;r divglwsso" ajpokaluvptei secrets, but one being faithful of spirit רוּח -ו נ א מ ן boula;" ejn sunedrivw/, is concealing a matter. :ד ב ר מ כ ס ה kruvptei pravgmata. pisto;" de; pnoh'/ (14) Without guidance a people will fall,.יד בּ א ין ת ח בּ לוֹת oi " mh; ujpavrcei kubevrnhsi", but deliverance is in the abundance of advisors. :יוֹע ץ בּ ר ב וּת שׁוּע ה ע ם-י פּ ל pivptousin w{sper fuvlla, swthriva de; ujpavrcei ejn pollh'/ boulh'/.
