Each recipient completes an application and eligibility process. The numbers of requests are the greatest in the history of the Ministry. Please search your hearts and your pantry and give as you feel led. Donations can include canned vegetables and meats, dried beans or rice and baby food. Monetary donations may be made also. Donations may be placed in Barbara Walker's classroom or in the collection box in the narthex.
PANDAMANIA IS COMING TO GLENCOE UMC! Summer may seem a long way off but we are already making plans for this year's VBS. At PandaMania, kids will discover that God is wild about them--a fact that will change them forever! The fun starts July 10th but there is a lot to do before then. First of all you can begin praying for Glencoe's VBS. Ask God to prepare the hearts of church members, workers and children who will attend VBS. A great VBS requires many volunteers. Prayerfully consider whether God is calling you to help with this very important ministry. There will be a volunteer meeting on May 18th at 7 pm. Crew leaders are still needed! Parents can preregister their children by emailing me at tlp306@msn.com. Be on the lookout for stuffed Pandas. We can't have too many pandas at PandaMania! Let's all work together to make this VBS the best ever! The UMM gave $1066.81 to the new sign fund. We are working on a handicap ramp in Reidsville, when we can get everything together we will set a date to build it.
