NOMINATION FOR PASTORAL COUNCIL MEMBERS There will be three (3) vacancies on the Pastoral Council this Fall. The term for each vacancy is three (3) years. Nomina on forms will be available in the pews and in the church office the weekend of June 18/19. Deadline for submi ng the forms is July 10, 2016, either by placing in the collec on baskets or leaving the forms at the church office. Please submit your name or the name of those whom you would like to nominate to serve on the Pastoral Council. Nominees will be contacted by the Pastoral Council Execu- ve Commi ee in July to verify their interest. Those interested nominees will meet on August 4, 2016 with a facilitator from the Albany Diocese who will be conduc ng the discernment process. Discernment is a decision-making process that honors the place of God s will in our lives, an interior search that seeks to align our will with the will of God in order to learn what God is calling us to do. 2016 BISHOP S APPEAL Our assessment this year is $31,685.00. To date, 76 gi s have been pledged/given for a total of $18,748, which leaves us $12,937 to complete our goal. SPAGHETTI DINNER The Bethany Guild will be hos ng a spaghe dinner on Saturday, June 11, from 5-7 p.m. at Parishioners Hall in Lake Luzerne. Spaghe, various sauces, meatballs, sausage, salad, Italian bread, homemade dessert and choice of beverages are on the menu Adults are $8.00, children 12 and under are $5.00. There will also be a summer basket raffle. Proceeds will benefit the Maxfield Community Food Pantry in Lake Luzerne. We hope to see you there! CAN YOU HELP?
