Burgess; and a brother, Cecil Holloway. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy. She is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law and one son and daughter-in-law, Grace and Bill Lee of Cookeville, Ralph and Debbie Peek of Ashland City, Gail and Clarence Jared of Cookeville, Jannie Clemons of Cookeville, and Glenda and Larry Smith of Cookeville; eight grandchildren, Vanessa and Brad, Billy and Kim, Lynn and Claricia, and Shawn and Shane; 19 great-grandchildren; and five great-greatgrandchildren. COOKEVILLE -- Funeral services for Carolyn Joyce Stultz, 63, of Cookeville, will be held at 11 a.m. on Fri., Oct. 29, from the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper & Huddleston Funeral Home. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery in Overton County. The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. today, Thurs., Oct. 28, at the funeral home. Mrs. Stultz died on Wed., Oct. 27, 1999, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.She was born on Aug. 2, 1936, in White County to the late Roy and Mary Lou Kitchersid Wallace. Mrs. Stultz was a homemaker and a member of the Free Will Baptist faith. Her family includes a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Helen and Paul Lassiter of Cookeville; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Billy (Bill) Joe and Sherrie Matheney, and Harold Lee (Peanut) and Carol Matheney, all of Cookeville; a sister, Margaret Wallace of Daytona Beach, Fla.; 12 grandchildren, Phoebe West, Herbie Wayne Julian, Christopher, Ashley Marie and Shawn Lee Lassiter, Stacy, Chris, Stephanie, Kevin and Jennifer Matheney, Felicia Key and Keith Gaw; and a great-grandson, Lewis Lee West. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husbands, T.C. Matheney and James Stultz; and a son, Randy Lewis Greenwood.
