Chinese New Year Outreach The Chinese New Year celebration is on Friday, February 9 from 5:00-8:30 p.m. Last year we expected 500-600 people but received 750-800 instead. For hundreds of them, it was the first time they set foot in a church and heard the Gospel! We now have an ongoing Asian ministry Bible study and English lessons at our church every Sunday. We ask you to attend, support, and pray for this event as part of our church body. Think of this as a mini-mission trip and the Great Commission at work. You can experience entirely different cultures, food, and performances while sharing Christ through extending love and hospitality to our Asian community right around us. Our invitation cards and tickets are now available at the Welcome Center. We are selling tickets this year to help cover costs of an amazing dinner provided by Chou s Kitchen, and also to limit the number of guests for logistic reasons. Buy your tickets early as they will sell out fast, and invite your Asian friends, neighbors, and co-workers to our fun outreach event. Pastor Mike will present a short Gospel message. Contact Dibin Lassila with any questions. Chinese New Year Kids Fashion Show Wanted: Cute kids and cultural costumes! A fashion designer and a professional model will direct kids 10 and under to put on a multi-cultural Kids Fashion Show at our Chinese New Year event on February 9 here at Tri-City. We are looking for: 1. Any cultural costumes you may have that we can borrow; 2. Cute kiddos to be our models at the fashion show. Please contact Karen Hollowell if you can help out in either request. Memorizing God's Word in 2018! Week Two: Isaiah 26:3 (NKJV) You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.

Tuition Tax Credit Tuition Tax Credit Please do not forget to take advantage of the Tuition Tax Credit as you prepare your state income taxes. If you re new to Tri-City, you might not be familiar with this incredible program. Singles are allowed to redirect up to $1,089 ($546 in the Original program and the overflow in the PLUS Switcher of $543). Married couples can redirect up to $2,177 ($1,092 in the Original program and the overflow in the PLUS Switcher of $1,085). All Arizona workers owe state taxes. Arizona allows singles and married couples to redirect their state tax dollars to a tuition tax credit organization like TOPS for Kids. Donors take the donated money as a credit against the Arizona state taxes they owe when they file their state tax returns. Donors can recommend private schools or students they would like the money to go to. If left blank, the funds go to help low-income families with education costs. It is one of the biggest ministries to our Tri-City Christian Academy families! If able, please give by January 15, which helps with this year s school bills. Go to www. TOPSforKids.com for more information and to redirect your state tax dollars. facebook.com/ TriCityBaptistMinistries 2211 W Germann Rd Chandler, AZ 85286 (480) 245-7900 info@tricityministries.org TriCityMinistries.org If you have personal needs, requests, or blessings you wish to share with the pastoral staff, please send them to info@tricityministries.org.
