P: Jesus Christ, Son of God, you came that we might have life and have it in abundance. A: Holy Spirit, dwelling within us, you make us temples of your presence: P: For all who are in need of healing: P: For all who are suffering from injury or illness: P: For all who are troubled by confusion or pain: P: For all whose increasing years bring weariness: P: For all about to undergo surgery: P: For all who cannot sleep: P: For all who practice the healing arts: P: Compassionate God, you so loved the world A: That you sent us Jesus to bear our infirmities and afflictions. P: Through acts of healing, he revealed you as the true source of health and salvation. A: For the sake of your Christ who suffered and died for us... P: Conquered death, and now reigns with you in glory... A: Hear the cry of your people. P: Have mercy on us and make us whole. A: Bring us at last into the fullness of your eternal life. Amen. THE PSALTER READING Psalm 126 (Responsively) HEAD Sermon Notes LEADER: People: LEADER: People: LEADER: People: When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter; and our tongue with shouts of joy; then they said among the nations, The Lord has done great things for them. The Lord has done great things for us; we are glad. Restore our fortunes, O Lord, like streams in the Negeb! Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy! He who goes out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him. HEART HANDS

CORNERSTONE Jesus, Lover of My Soul PRELUDE WORDS OF WELCOME CALL TO WORSHIP Reverend Ellis Brooks Rev. Ellis * HYMN OF PRAISE O, for a Thousand Tongues * APOSTLES CREED I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth: and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead, He ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence, He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
