SAINT JOSEPH CATHOLIC PARISH JANUARY 15, 2017 SECOND SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME Window Removal Underway! Welcome! Fr. David McGuinness, Fr. Paul Moreau, along with our staff and our whole community, welcome you to St. Joseph Catholic Church. To our visitors, it is a blessing to have you here and thank you for worshipping with us. We hope that you will come again. For those interested in finding out more about the Catholic faith, or are new to our parish and need to register, please contact our Parish Office for more information at 706-548-6332. Bienvenido! The removal of the stained glass windows at Prince Avenue was scheduled to begin January 2. Unfortunately the weather had other plans! After a week s delay with rain, followed by cold temps and snow, things are finally back on track. The Foothill Sand to Glass Inc. of Union Grove, NC arrived this week and is beginning to assemble the scaffolding that will aid in the removal process. Wood was purchased and boxes made, to place each window into for safekeeping while stored. As windows are removed, the plexiglass currently protecting the windows will be returned to enclose the opening.

But they saw the star only because they were not afraid to travel in the dark. The fact is, we cannot see the stars in the bright light of day, but only in the darkness of night; And the darker the night, the brighter they shine. The Love is in the Air Steering Committee of Filipino-American Parishioners headed by Dr. Josephine Lopez. Pancake Breakfast In a sense, all of us are night-time travelers. However, we need no longer fear the darkness, because with the coming of Christ a light has come into the world, and light that shines in the dark, a light that no darkness can overpower.
