The love of Christ both purifies and sets us free to do good to all, even those who cause us grief. The call to accountability for what we have done and have failed to do is inevitable and we can't escape it, both in this life and at the day of judgment when the Lord Jesus will return. But while we have the opportunity today, we must not give up on praying for those who cause us offense. With God's help we must seek to make every effort to win them with the grace and power of God's healing love and wisdom. "Lord Jesus, make me an instrument of your healing love and peace. Give me wisdom and courage to bring your healing love and saving truth to those in need of healing and restoration." School Of Religion School of Religion Classes begin this week, Welcome Back!! Holy Cross Men s Group Join us This Thursday for our first Fall Session! Saints. Artists. Mystics. Scholars. Bishop Robert Barron's CATHOLICISM series, an epic ten part documentary, took people around the world and deep into the Catholic Faith. The series aired on PBS and has been seen by millions. But there is still more of the story to tell. Bishop Barron is on a new journey to unlock the truth behind the Catholic Church's most influential people. Catholicism: The Pivotal Players is a multi-part film series that illumines a handful of saints, artists, mystics and scholars who not only shaped the life of the Church but changed the course of civilization. In the first session on September 14, at 7:30 PM, the Men's Group will focus on Saint Francis, The Reformer. Rebuild my Church! That s the mission Christ gave to St. Francis and it s the perennial task of the Church in every age of its life. But how is the reform and renewal of the Church to be accomplished? The life of St. Francis demonstrates that Christ intends the foundations of true and lasting reform to be built on the solid rock that is the radical witness of the saints. Please join us, new members are always welcome! Our Lady of Fatima 100th Year Celebration Join us on Wednesday, September 13th, following the 9 AM Mass, for Fatima Anniversary prayers.
