There is an opportunity for further training in Hospital Ministry under the direction of Father Vincent Musaby Imana, the Catholic Chaplain assigned to the new CPMC hospital, opening next month. Eucharistic Ministers will receive spiritual, theological, and practical preparation to fulfill their role with knowledge and reverence. Christoph Sandoval, Deacon The focus and goal of this ministry is spiritual support for people with life threatening illnesses including but not limited to Coronary Artery Disease, Stroke, Cancer, HIV, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, etc. A diagnosis of a this nature can provide an opportunity to seek spiritual support through Faith, Word, Sacrament and Community. This spiritual care support group is held free of charge on the First Friday of each month in the Msgr. Bowe Room, on the west side of the parking lot level of the Cathedral. The session will also provide guidance on Catholic Teaching and the preparation of Health Care Directives for medical care. The Msgr. Bowe Room is on the Cleary Court side of the building.
