Leader: Do you see the visions? Can you dream the dreams? People: Come, Holy Spirit; come! Leader: Come let Pentecost become real in our lives this morning. People: Come and worship our God who sends the Spirit to touch us and transform us into Pentecost people. PRAYER OF THE DAY (Unison) Living God, you sent the Holy Spirit to breathe life into your church. Let us no longer be captives of fear, but messengers of your saving love, so that all may be reconciled in you; through Jesus Christ, our peace. Amen. * HYMN #20 All Things Bright and Beautiful * CALL TO CONFESSION * PRAYER OF CONFESSION (Unison) Lord forgive us. Forgive us for not always loving each other. Amen (silent confession) * KYRIE ELEISON #551 Lord Have Mercy

* ASSURANCE OF PARDON How much does God love us? Enough to send the divine heart, hope, and spirit to us, not to condemn us but to save us. Not by our speaking or doing, but by God's good and precious grace we are saved. Thanks be to God. Amen * PASSING OF THE PEACE Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts. To this peace we were called as members of a single body. Please greet or respond to one another; The peace of Christ be with you. People: Lord, put our prosperity at the service of the poor. Minister: We cannot take juice and forget those who are thirsty. People: Lord, put our fullness at the service of the empty. Minister: We cannot hear your words of peace and forget the world at war. People: Show us Lord, how to turn weapons into welcome signs and the lust for power into a desire for peace. Minister: We cannot celebrate the feast of your family and forget our divisions. We are one in spirit, but not in fact. History and hurt still dismember us. People: Lord, heal your church in every brokenness. Minister: Lord, pour out your spirit on us and on theses gifts of bread and juice that they may become for us your body, healing, forgiving and making us whole and that we may become for you your body, loving and caring in the world until your kingdom comes.
