Partnering with the 4/14ers on God s mission to the world. A call is going out for Champions to Climb the New Mountain to Root and Release A New Generation of World Changers from the 4/14 Window. From peering together into the 4/14 Window to pioneering in a 4/14 initiative it s now time for us to partner together in the 4/14 Movement working with all those who are called to reach, rescue, root and release the 4/14ers. The New Mountain in the 4 to 14 Window we are focusing on is to Root (that is to disciple) and to Release these children. Not only are the 4 to 14ers the most responsive to the gospel, they also have a capacity to grow in their relationship with God and to reach
others for God--both adults and children--and to pray and intercede and to make peace in communities around the world. We recognize children and youth as strategic partners in mission. We affirm the importance of children in mission not just as the objects of mission, but as the subjects of mission as well. We see them not only as adjuncts of the Mission of God but as agents of the Mission of God. The question is we addressed was: How do we become champions who readily Climb the New Mountain to Root and Release a New Generation of World Changers from the 4/14 Window? The answer is by means of a radical New Testament discipleship to root and release the children that centers on the Lord Jesus Christ and embraces his words and his ways. The role of children in the Bible as agents of God's mission was presented in a plenary session led by Dan Brewster and John Baxter-Brown communicating highlights from the 4/14 Window Missiology conference which we held in Seoul, Korea last February. A Compendium called Children and Youth as Partners in Mission (CYPM) along with 3 booklets which sought to distil and highlight portions of the longer which were distributed to the participants of the 4/14 Window Summit.
4/14 WINDOW: It s time to provide hospitable space for children to bring their gifts into service of the whole community! During the three days of the Summit itself, the media team - working with the international delegates - were able to do over 100 translations of the animated videos.
