Judy, Past State Madam President, what a beautiful convention you ran with such Grace, Congratulation on your year and your Charity. We certainly had a busy week that goes without even saying. My week started out as I participated in the ritual this year as a one woman contestant and on a Sure Shot team wow! It sure was exciting when I heard my name announced with the scores. Sisters get with your Auxiliary and District and see if you can form a team. It s such an wonderful feeling to participate in our ritual. Congratulation to all the Auxiliary State Officers it will be an honor to serve with you this year. I would like to send a very special thank you out to the escort team you all did an outstanding job, with so little practice you certainly would have not known, my installing team thank you so much for being part of my Special Day. To my Husband Skip, thank you for all the support you have given to me. Thank you to Michelle Davis and Doctor Hank Paulson, MD, PHD for being at the installation and speaking on the charity, I have chosen this year Alzheimer's and Dementia. I chose this charity in memory of my mother who was taken from me do to this dreaded disease. Thank you to the ladies of my Auxiliary for the beautiful decorations at the banquet and all your hard work and dedication to me, I am so proud to be a members of Beaverton Auxiliary #3655, District #12 you made me shine, thank you. What a packed house at the banquet unbelievable, I was so happy to see my Husband in his Pink Tie sitting in front of me with my family, and friends, I truly can say that I am blessed. The Past Madam Presidents and State Officers you all looked so beautiful in your long dresses. Thank you to my Mistress of ceremonies Mary Myers Past Grand Madam President. July 2018 State Madam President Linda Day On June 24th I was invited to attend Royal Oak #2092 for their 81st Anniversary Celebration, the State of Auxiliary Ritual Team was honored to initiate 8 news sisters. The Auxiliary did a raffle and presented a gracious donation to my charity, Alzheimer's and Dementia research to the University of Michigan. Now it is time to get packed and get ready to head to the National Convention which will be held in Dallas Texas were I will have the honor of carrying the Michigan Flag. Auxiliary Secretaries, Thank you for all your hard work this pass year. It is that time of year for the following work to get completed. 1) Per Capita Taxes for the Grand Aerie and the State Auxiliary 2) Get your Officers List in the MMS and a list to the State Auxiliary 3) Print your final reports out of the MMS for the Auditor and Treasurer so they can be sent to the Grand Aerie 4) Start working on getting your 990 done and sent a copy to the Grand Aerie If you do a 990N E Post Card you must send in your Auditors Report to the Grand I just mailed the following paperwork out to all of you. -Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer, Auditor School at Fruitport Auxiliary 3666 -Membership School at Rose Clair Auxiliary 2895 -Membership School Bid for 2019 and Bowling Bid for 2020 -State Officers, Past Presidents and Committee List -Hall of Fame Letter Next month I will be working on who is on the nasty list on the above information. The membership program in regards to obtaining your Auxiliary quota is the same as last year!!. Here we go: The quota for new initiates and re-enrolls for each Auxiliary is based on 10% of each Auxiliary count for members in good standing as of May 31, 2018. For example, if you had 60 members as of May 31 st your quota is 6; 250 members would give you a quota of 25; 580 members would be a quota of 58. Got it? The new quota for Michigan is 2637 based on our May 31, 2018 stats. Individual quota stats are displayed on the monthly spreadsheet which is available with the bulletin or on the Michigan State Auxiliary website mistaux.com.
