If so, fear not! Christ is here to walk us on the journey of life to give us the gift of himself and to offer us the abundance of Easter joy. The Paschal Mystery is the heart of the entire liturgical and sacramental life of the Church and occupies a particular focus during the Easter season. Today s Gospel portrays disciples who allowed the events of Good Friday to blind them to the hope of Resurrection and new life as promised by Jesus. In doing they lost hope in his mission. Jesus appeared to them in his risen and glorified body, but they thought they were seeing a ghost. Jesus said to them, Look at my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Then he asked for something to eat and ate a piece of fish in front of them. In his human action, the disciples realized again that Jesus was no longer dead but living among them. Thanks to the Movers and Shakers! Thank you to Bartow Brown, John Pass, Tom Wetzel, Mike Deegan, and Louis D Souza for helping out to install the movable wall in the new Maintenance Office last weekend! Thanks to the Beauty Queens! A special word of thanks to all those who helped with decorating the church for the Easter celebration, especially to Kathy Tunning and Carol McCrea! Thank you and God bless you for your ministry to the church! House Blessing Sign-up in the Narthex Offertory Collection for April 8, 2018 Do Not Use Chewing Gum in the Church Please!
