HOLY ROSARY, STATEN ISLAND THE WEEK AHEAD.... continued 1
FIFTH SUNDAY OF LENT To date our Parish has received $58,765.00 in pledges toward the 2013 Cardinal s Appeal from 156 families. This is 76% of our goal. For this Appeal to be truly successful, we must have the support of all of our families. The Appeal is a vital source of funding for the programs and ministries that sustain the parishes across our Archdiocese. It is not too late to make your gift. Please be as generous as you can. Thank you for your kind support. AND IN ALL THINGS GIVE THANKS March 10, 2013 Adult collection $ 8,033.77 March 10, 2013 Children s collection $ 175.84 March 11, 2012 Adult collection $ 8,549.07 March 11, 2012 Children s collection $ 264.10 As we celebrate the Solemnity of St. Patrick, the Patron Saint of our Archdiocese, we are reminded that the builders of the Catholic community in New York were mostly poor immigrants who gave all that they could. Many lofty edifices of worship grace our city and suburbs. Our own parish was founded by immigrants. Let us thank God for them. And let us continue to be faithful supporters of our own Parish. Gratefully, 2
