The degree was performed by Council 11672 s 1 st Degree team with some fill ins from our Council. (Tim Karigan and Brian Moore) We now have three new members: James F. Our social meeting will be on the Tuesday, December 16 th The Council along with the Ladies Auxiliary will be hosting a sing along evening called Knights & Carols. The event begins at 6:30 PM and please bring an appetizer to share. Speaking of the Ladies Auxiliary, they met again last week and have appointed officers. They will have an information table at our December 16 th meeting for prospective members. Once again this year, our 4 th Degree Assembly will be providing an honor guard at the midnight Christmas mass. I would like to see our Council s 4 th Degree members support this event to the fullest. Please contact me if you have not received the invitation for signing up. Prayers and Meditations Holy Father, Pope Francis, Prayer Intentions for December Christmas, hope for humanity. That the birth of the Redeemer may bring peace and hope to all people of good will. Parents. That parents may be true evangelizers, passing on to their children the precious gift of faith. Chaplain s Message (Presented by Fr. Mike MacMahon at the 2 December Business Meeting) We are in Advent. We should be exemplary, as Catholic men, to other men that they should be committed so the church and to their personal spiritual growth. We should all plan on attending the parish penance service during this season of Advent. We are in a time of preparation, waiting, watching. Taking responsibility for our spiritual growth is important. We do not grow spiritually if we do not hold our selves accountable and we need to do something specifically in our spiritual growth. People in the parish know us and know that we are members of the Knights of Columbus. Seeing what we do and how we act serves as a role model to them.
