Befriend Raphael and introduce non-catholics to this angel, for the Book of Tobit was removed from their Bibles. Remember the intentions of our nation, our Church and our world. The Sacred Heart of Jesus Novena was said daily by St. Padre Pio for those who asked for his prayers. Although it can be said any time, it is traditionally prayed nine days before or after the Feast of the Sacred Heart, and considered by many as most efficacious.
A Time for Sadness, a Time for Joy Deacon Patrick Flynn was an integral part of RFR for 30 years. The Lord called him home on April 30. Deacon Pat and his wife, Betty, were members of RFR since the beginning. He gave so many talks for many years. He was one of the first ordained deacons in our diocese. Betty said he prayed the Rosary daily for 50 years. He will be greatly missed.
