You know my needs, my trials, my sufferings. Mother of Mercy, I beseech you to hear my prayer, and to obtain for me from your Divine Son the favors I seek in this Novena. (Here make your requests.) O Mother most pure, guide me in dangers, enlighten me in doubts, strengthen me in temptation, and help me to bear the crosses of life in union with your Son, so that one day, with you, I might share His glory. Amen. The Memorare Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy hear and answer me. Amen. Add Rosary to your Novena prayers

In 1846, the U.S. bishops chose Mary under this title as patroness. Our Lady of Guadalupe is the Empress of the Americas, that is, North, Central and South Americas. She encouraged complete trust in her, as she tenderly asked St. Juan Diego, Am I not your Mother? Fr. John Nahrgang, newly ordained, will present on RFR a five-part series on Our Lady of Guadalupe. See schedule. Rosary Pearl of the Month: The Rosary and Peace December is a month devoted to the heart of the Joyful Mysteries, the Third Joyful Mystery, the Nativity of Christ. During Advent, the faithful wait for the coming of Christ, when we can sing with the heavenly host, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to those on whom His favor rests! (Luke 2:14) We live in a world starving for peace but struggling to find it. At Christmas we, like the shepherds and wisemen, come to worship the Prince of Peace, the little Christ Child. Saint John Paul II tells us: The Rosary is by its nature a prayer for peace, since it consists in the contemplation of Christ, the Prince of Peace, the one who is our peace (Eph 2:14). Anyone who assimilates the mystery of Christ and this is clearly the goal of the Rosary learns the secret of peace and makes it his life s project...with the tranquil succession of Hail Marys, the Rosary has a peaceful effect on those who pray it, disposing them to receive and experience in their innermost depths, and to spread around them, that true peace which is the special gift of the Risen Lord. From all of us at Radio Family Rosary, we wish you and your family the Joy of Christmas and the Peace that comes from Christ. An Advent Practice That May Become a Daily Habit Start each day with 15 minutes of Lord s Time. Many who do this say it makes a great and fruitful day. It may be in formal prayer or informal conversation. Bishop Eduardo Nevares suggested, Even 10 minutes.

This powerful Novena begins Dec. 17, the birthday of Pope Francis. Let us make special mention of him in our Novena. The Novena can be prayed at any time. Dear Infant Jesus of Prague, bless us abundantly. Jesus, lead us this Advent to seek out moments of Marian silence, pondering in our hearts, and encountering the joy of being with You. The Archangel Michael, Our Powerful, Timely Intercessor Some older Catholics recall that the prayer to St, Michael the Archangel was regularly offered after most Masses. This practice had been requested in 1886 by Pope Leo XIII, who composed the prayer, and it continued until about The need for St. Michael to defend us in battle is very evident today for our Church and for our world. The bishops of many dioceses have requested that St. Michael the Archangel prayer again be said after every Mass. At several churches in the Diocese of Phoenix the prayer is being recited at the request of the pastor or at the initiative of parishioners. Since 2011 in the Diocese of Springfield, IL, the St. Michael Prayer has been prayed after Masses. Bishop Thomas Paprocki has urged his flock to pray it privately as well as publicly, The Catholic Register, October 28, 2018, reports. Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel For the Protection of Our Country and Our Church St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do you, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world, seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
