Trunk or Treat, Hot Dog supper, bounce house, and Costume Contest for all ages. It is open to the public so please invite your friends. All monies raised go toward the Youth Christmas Shopping Project for underprivileged families. Our goal is to shop for 18 kids at the total cost of $4,000. We need lots of cars for our Trunk or Treat, so please let Brian Dilday know if you can decorate your trunk and give out candy. Children s Worship Class: Our first worship class for 2nd-4th graders will be October 25th in Room B117 downstairs following A Time for Young Disciples in the 11:00 service. Community Event: On October 29, from 6-8:30 pm, Bill Neely s nephew, Scott Neely, along with Marlanda Dekine, will be leading a community discussion sponsored by the Human Rights Council of the City of Greenville and hosted by First Presbyterian Church. Scott and Marlanda direct an organization known as Speaking Down Barriers. The title of the workshop is Race: What Are We Afraid Of? It is hoped that there will be a good representation from FPC along with other faith communities here in Greenville.
